Mr Clay and the staff at Texon are top notch. They diagnosed, made recommendations and we agreed on a plan. He never tried to upscale me the truck runs as good as new. New engine, Hemi 5.7! absolutely NO issues and fantastic communication and follow up. They have earned a customer for life!! Great place to trust with you vehicle repairs and service.

My Lincoln Mark LT truck originally had 360k miles. I have always taken diligent care of routine maintenance. Clay was extremely friendly; however, after my engine was replaced, I had to bring my truck back more than 20 times during the three-year warranty period.
The new engine they installed failed shortly after the warranty expired, with only 89k miles on it. Clearly, they sold me a defective engine. They then offered to sell me another motor for the same price I paid for the faulty one, around $4,500.

Since we chose to use Texon Motor we have had a very good experience. This was the best decision we made for our fleet vehicles. They diagnose the problem, quote the work, and send an invoice. Easy peasy and the best is the workers are very professional, and friendly. Mr. Clay is the best and communicative. Thank you for your hard work Texon Motor Team!
Total nightmare. It took six months to get my engine replaced for a 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2.4l AWD. Replaced the engine (they sold me) twice to fix an engine code. Kept giving me the car back with the code P0014! There were missing brackets for the engine, missing heat shield for the rack and pinion missing (had to order one myself), missing bolts for mounting the engine to the transmission and missing hose clamps. Used bolts that did come originally with the car. They lost my original oil pan (asked what happened to the original oil pan and they said they did not know.) and replaced it with the wrong one. (The original oil pan has 23 holes and the one they installed had 22 holes.) They stated it was ok as different models have pans with less bolt holes. I did not believe them and found the correct oil pan myself and told them to replace the oil pan with the correct one. I had to clean out the bottom of the car from CV axle grease as it appeared they had accidentally pulled the boot off and drove the car and later slipped the boot back on. When i finally got my car back (6 months) the oil pan leaked and I returned the car and it took three days to fix it. The car had a hard start because the original fuel pump was bad. I had it replaced by someone else because I did not want to wait a week to replace it.
Never any apologies.
The only good thing was they diagnosed a problem (bucking while driving) due to the wrong transfer case I supplied that they installed. They removed incorrect transfer case and replaced it with a correct one (I purchased) and the bucking stopped. This was early in the repair process.
Now the reply below says it was a nightmare for both of us. (They were not without a car for six months I was.) It was I that had to bring all of the issues to your attention about the engine. There were no worn out clamps. One bracket was replaced but still missing a mount for a connector. I just discovered another bracket missing as well. Why would you make me pay for any extra engines (that never worked properly) when your company bought the engines in the first place? You lost the oil pan so why would you charge me for another one? One would think they would have noticed the hard start with the car after replacing the engine but no. (Experts?)
One last note the warranty is crap. If any major repairs are needed there is only 12 hours at $50 an hour. Not enough to replace or any major repairs to the engine.
Cost? over $7000.....
14Apr2026 Nightmare continues... The oil pan is leaking again. I am not going to take it back and wait a week for them to try to fix it for a second time.
