I had a fantastic experience buying my car here in March. Christopher Lewis was the Sales Consultant I worked with and he was incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. I also met with Sales Manager Darian Lambert while I was there and he was great too. At all points in the car buying process from my initial test drive through the financial paperwork with Adrienne (who was also incredibly kind!), I never felt pressured and truly enjoyed working with the team at Grubbs. The service department helped me get my plates installed and the sales team also handled the initial state registration for me. I am so happy with my decision to buy my new car here and would recommend this dealership anyone looking!

The service department of Grubbs is unprofessional.
Shelby Gibbs called and left me a message saying she “needed to discuss my car”. I immediately called her back because I was concerned. It was actually just an ethically questionable tactic to get me on the phone to give her a five star review. She also offered me a $100 gift card to give her a five star review. I had no issues with my recent service, so I agreed.
One week later, I reached out to see when I would get the gift card and heard nothing. Messages, calls, voicemails later, she finally told me her manager was working on it. And then, no response again. Still no updates weeks later. Maybe because she knew she promised something she shouldn’t have…who knows. My last message to her expressed my frustration with being ignored. No response to that—shocker! At this point it was the principle—I did what she asked, and they didn’t follow through and ignored my repeated inquiries.
I also emailed the service manager, Mitchell Shutter, to express my frustration with being ignored—no response. That’s even more offensive than Shelby not responding as he’s in charge of the whole department. Mitchell, I hope you read this.
I’m taking this as an easy lesson from the universe that I should never go back to Grubbs (even though I bought my car there) and get service at Volvo West Houston instead. Such a stupid way to lose a customer…they literally just need to acknowledge me. Take it on the chin—an important skill in customer service. This is my third Volvo, and this is my first bad experience with Volvo (Momentum and Austin Volvo were always great). I will note that the man who sold me the car, Bryan Passmore, is very nice and responsive. Maybe he should teach a remedial class for the service team. Better to learn now that the service department sucks than when I have a real problem!

Great experience with Grubbs Volvo Cars Central Houston.
I brought my car in from College Station, and they were very accommodating, especially by letting us take the loaner car back with us. They diagnosed the issue within two days, which I appreciated.
I also accidentally left some important documents in the loaner. Chris and the team found them and shipped them back within a couple of days. Thank you so much!
Overall, straightforward and helpful service and team.

I had an excellent experience working with Christopher Lewis when purchasing my car. From start to finish, he provided outstanding customer service and made the entire process smooth, stress free, and enjoyable. He was professional, knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to answer all of me and mg husband’s questions thoroughly.
Christopher made sure I felt confident every step of the way and truly went above and beyond to help me find the right car. His honesty, attention to detail, and dedication to providing great service really stood out.
If you are looking to buy a car and want someone who is trustworthy, helpful, and genuinely cares about your experience, I highly recommend Christopher Lewis. I am extremely happy with my purchase and grateful for all of his help!

This Volvo dealership has the potential to be great, but my biggest issue was with the salesperson, Simon Saba. In my experience, he was not very knowledgeable about the vehicles he was selling and did not provide important details or helpful information during the process. Because of that, I would strongly recommend doing your own research before purchasing.
Beyond that, my main concern was his communication style and professionalism. He was pleasant at first, but later came across as rude, dismissive, and uninterested in providing a good customer experience. Respectful communication is a basic expectation in any sales role, and unfortunately that was lacking here.
On a more positive note, the manager, Darian, was much nicer, more level headed, and more professional. That made a noticeable difference. This dealership could offer a much better experience overall with stronger customer-facing staff.
