⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Service Every Time – Highly Recommended! I’ve rented from Enterprise in Houston multiple times, and the experience is always outstanding. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. They really pay attention to details and make the entire process smooth and hassle-free. From the moment you walk in, everything is quick and easy—no long waits, no complications. The cars are clean, well-maintained, and ready to go. Whether I needed a standard sedan or something larger, they always had great options and took care of everything without any issues. If you’re looking for a reliable and stress-free car rental experience in Houston, I can’t recommend Enterprise enough. Amazing service from start to finish. 10/10 would rent again!

I am very pleased by my experience with Enterprise Rental at IAH. This was my first rental with Enterprise and it was managed with ease. Everyone was friendly and there was no issues when I checked the car out. Upon my return, I had one hiccup and it was that the battery was dead when I was trying to leave to return back to the airport. Someone was able to give me a jump and when I returned the vehicle, they made a note of my mishap. They wanted to make it right for the inconvenience, but I was okay and was just happy to have made it back. This was a great experience, and I will most likely rent from Enterprise again.

When I picked up my car I didn't the key fob battery was almost dead. After I had finished traveling to my destination I tried to lock the doors and they wouldn't lock with the fob. I immediately called the rental car help desk, and they informed me that I would have to drive back to the airport and return the car. I was not happy with this at all. Enterprise has always prided themselves on we deliver the car to you. Well apparently, not this time. I was in charge of a large company function and did not have the time to do this. After a long debate on the phone with customer service, I was finally instructed that they would allow me to exchange it at the nearest Enterprise location and I was to call them the next day. After several attempts to reach the alternate location, I finally had success only to be told they didn't have any vehicles in stock for the exchange. So, I had to take the car back to the Airport location which is 1 1/2 hrs. one way. Now I am extremely angry and had to make significant arrangements for my function responsibilities. Once I arrived at the Airport location the young lady on duty was very empathetic and helpful. She retrieved an new vehicle for me and instructed me to make sure that i speak to someone about an adjustment to the bill upon returning the car. On the last day I spoke to a manger about the ordeal, and she made it right and credited back half of the charges for my inconvenience. So, I gave this a lower rating due to the inconvenience but the customer service was AWESOME!

I am a member of the Emerald Club. My experience at the IAH airport location at check-in was.....let me say....not good at all. I checked in on-line as suggested to make the process upon my arrival to IAH to be easy. Well, it wasn't. There was an "on-line check-in podium and a podium for those that did not check in on-line. There was no one in line for the on-line check-in when I arrived. I stood there for at least 10 minutes with no one waiting on me and watched other customers in the line that did not check in on line get waited on. Some customers finally said to me, "there seems to be only one line and we didn't think anyone was working the online check-in podium." So, I moved to the other line which I am now 5 customers deep. I finally get my turn at the non-on-line check-in podium. I had a 10% off and free upgrade from an experience at the STL location last summer. The agent told me it was either 10% OR an Upgrade when the card clearly had an "&". She walked off and left me standing there for about 10 minutes when another agent comes along and asked if I can be helped. This agent did take care of me efficiently but only after at least 30 minutes transpired. I did reserve a Mitsubishi Mirage or similar. I am of the understanding given the status I am with Enterprise that I get an automatic upgrade. With the upgrade from the experience, I had at STL last summer, I should have gotten an additional upgrade. I ended up with a Hyundai Venue which was basically a clown car, not an upgrade at all. It was hot in the parking deck, and I had somewhere I needed to be, so I took the car and left. The guy at check-out was great and the return experience was great. The initial experience when I arrived IAH Enterprise location was terrible. I am never one to write a negative review. In fact, I tend to often write positive reviews. My entire 44 year working career has been in customer service. I know how people are quick to complain and rarely give praise. Just disappointed.

Request for Review of Employee Behavior and Handling of Rental Exchange To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to request executive review of an incident at your Enterprise location involving employee conduct, procedural failure, and the unnecessary escalation of what should have been a routine rental exchange. I visited the location to exchange my rental vehicle after it was struck by road debris. The related claim had already been filed prior to my arrival. I clearly advised staff that I was there to swap out the rental, not to request an upgrade. My primary concern is not simply the outcome of the interaction, but the manner in which it was handled from the outset. Before anyone asked my name, verified my reservation, reviewed my account, or gathered the most basic facts, I was approached in a manner that was presumptive, accusatory, and unprofessional. At no point was there an appropriate effort to begin with neutral fact-finding or standard customer service procedure. The interaction reflected a serious lapse in judgment and professionalism. Rather than engaging in a measured, procedural, and solution-oriented manner, staff appeared to make assumptions before establishing even the most basic information necessary to understand why I was there. That approach created an unnecessarily hostile and deeply troubling customer experience. A routine exchange request should not be driven by presumption rather than inquiry. Customers should not be subjected to escalation before their identity is confirmed, their account is reviewed, and the relevant facts are established. The failure to follow those basic standards is precisely what makes this matter so serious. From my perspective, this incident raises significant concerns regarding employee conduct, procedural integrity, and the overall standard of customer treatment at this location. I am requesting a formal review of the employees’ behavior, the decision-making that shaped this interaction, and the failure to follow basic professional process before escalating the matter. I also request that my account accurately reflect the following facts: I came to the location seeking a rental swap after road debris struck the vehicle, the claim had already been filed, and staff did not begin the interaction by asking my name, verifying my reservation, or gathering the information necessary to handle the matter appropriately. Please confirm receipt of this complaint and advise whether this matter has been escalated for management review. I would also appreciate written confirmation of the next steps in the review process. Sincerely, Nydia M
