I waited about ten minutes in the line with my car parked and no one approached, and a car that arrived after me was served first in the other lane. I am not very familiar with cars and I was told to turn the car on for something, then I was moved forward and the oil change happened while my engine was still running. No one asked me to turn the car off. That felt unsafe for the team and for my vehicle, and now I am worried even though the car seems fine. For context, my car is a 2025 Toyota Camry XLE Hybrid. I usually go to Toyota for service, but a family member said Valvoline could be more affordable so I tried it. After this visit I am unsure if I will return. I truly hope the employees are not punished. They were trying to do their jobs. Instead, please add training that reminds staff to give clear guidance about when to turn the engine off and to pay close attention to the order of the line. Adding more staff at busy times would also help. I am sharing this so future customers have a safer and better experience.
