  I rented a rav4 online. I went to pick it up and come to find out it was not there. The only available vehicle was a Yukon. I planned to pick up the vehicle and head to a funeral because I reserved the rav4 and shouldn't have any problems right? Wrong, I was offered a Yukon which has a high miles per gallon. After the ladies brain stormed for 30 minutes they came up with an idea that one of the workers is coming back with a mini cooper. I think she took it to eat lunch... So after waiting a hour I finally received a vehicle I could accept. I was entirely late for the funeral. The day later My dad I were off to Las Vegas! We drove and noticed a vibration that steadily got worse. 6 hours later we found out the driver rear tire was separated. It was like a softball size bump ready to pop at any minute! I called the 1 800 number to ask about a mobile mechanic or a wrecker to come out to replace the bad tire. I was told to drive it! She said it's "only" 10 minutes away from a mechanic shop. Maybe they can patch or plug it. Even after explaining that it's dangerous to drive and separated tires are not fixable. She insisted that it's only 10 minutes away. She mentioned I may received a reimbursement if I replace the tire which I still haven't received. So I'm driving down a major highway going 30 miles per hour on the shoulder with a ticking time bomb of a tire ready to explode for 15 to 20 minutes because 1 800 number person didn't care. I get the tire replaced and head to vegas. We noticed some of the other tires are vibrating more and were the same cheap tires as the bad separated tire. So I decided this car was unsafe and Sixt should look into why the tires are like that. I think someone replaced the mini cooper tires with cheap ones. So I called 1 800 number again. Hey I would like to return this unsafe vehicle to a location in Vegas and be able to fly back. They said it would be a $700 charge which I didn't want to do. So I decided to swap cars. I was promised Hughes Center, 325 Hughes Center Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89169 had a car waiting from the 1 800 number. I show up and the guy tells me they do not have a car available and was told to drive the unsafe car to the air port sixt. I tried to explain the problems I had and he insisted they do not have any available. After back and forth I agreed to go to the air port and on the way out I apologized for being upset and he mentions no worries which unsettled me more. I told him yes there is worries. I'm driving an unsafe car after being told this location would have one for me! I show up to the vegas airport sixt which everyone there were helpful. The manager there helped me submit my claim for tire replacement and handed me keys to a vehicle fast! I received a car that had no issues and my trip felt safe after that. So in a nutshell the service from 1 800 number was terrible and the people from memorial city sixt did a bad job having cars available for their reservations. I still haven't received any news about my money for buying the tire or the gut wrenching experience of driving an unsafe vehicle

  Very smooth and enjoyable experience with SIXT. The pickup of the car has been fast. They didn’t have the car I booked available for some reason.. so they upgraded me to another car. The drop off has been also very fast and pleasant. Thanks to the team for their kindness

  Worst service ever, I was a customer rent car whit sixt in California, but I’m a Texas resident I get all my family ready for get a good trip and enjoy and when I get they request a 2 utility bills and 2 proof of ID. , but in the email they only say that I need my ID and payments card ( my rent car was paying and booked already.) but I don’t have my utilities bill under my name.. so I bring my wife because the utilities bills are under her name and when I arrive whit my wife whit all the documents ready .. they say that they don’t have the 7 seat cars available.. they say we can give you a 5 seats cars.. So if I rent a 7 seats cars I because I need a 7 seat not 5. So the only solution that they offered my is cancel the reservation and your money back is back in 5 to 7 days!! So for conclusion they don’t have the car you rent , they don’t have others cars option to solve any inconvenience and they request 2 utility bills and 2 proof of ID for rent a car! Don’t rent your car here is just waste of time and they keep your money for a week! And I have all my whole family waiting for enjoy a trip! Don’t trust in this company!
