  Got my husband set up with all he needed to get on the road. Johnathon was kind and helpful. The kiosk is something I haven't used for myself. It's was fun and new.

  Awful pickup experience! LONG wait, with no courtesy upgrade, plus shady explanations of what was happening. It's a small facility that doesn't seem to have enough extra cars. I reserved a car in advance online so that I could quickly get the vehicle and finish errands before a long Christmas road trip. When I arrived, my reserved vehicle wasn't available, and I was told that a slight upgrade was "just being cleaned" and would be ready in 45 minutes. I trusted them and agreed to wait...but after a full HOUR I was told that the same vehicle was "still being cleaned" and they could no longer give me an estimate of when it would be ready. It *definitely* felt like I was being given the run-around while they waited for other cars to be returned. At that point, the agent and his manager mentioned that I could get an upgrade for about $20 extra per day or just stay in the original class that I reserved. In other words, NOTHING AT ALL to make up for the past hour of waiting for a previously "reserved" car -- not even a simple apology from the agent or manager! I didn't have more time to go to another rental facility, so I just accepted the same vehicle class that now became available. (Sixt is a shuttle ride away from the airport and not near any other car rental counters.) I can understand busy weekends -- but I did NOT appreciate what seemed to be dishonesty, coupled with zero courtesy/respect for the customer. I had rented from Sixt twice before (this was my third time), but I'm not sure that I will rent from them again unless I'm stuck with no good alternative. I certainly won't recommend Sixt to any friends, family, or coworkers.

  We travel to Houston for the Christmas holidays. We had reserved a car when we got there. There were none available, but Sasha did everything in her power to make it happen and it made for a fabulous experience. I hope Sasha has a merry Christmas and a wonderful new year because she helped us enjoy ours.

  I would like to commend the rental car agent Dasha who assisted me during my visit. My son and I were at two different locations, we were from out of town, and she went above and beyond to help us. She kept me company, made sure I felt comfortable, and was extremely knowledgeable about the company and its services. Her customer service was truly outstanding—by far the best service I have ever received from a rental car company.

  Scammers! They quote you one rental price upfront, then pile on hidden fees later. The counter rep told me I’d only be charged for the tolls I actually used — yet after the rental, they slapped on a $100 “administrative fee,” plus an additional $40 for absolutely no reason. I even asked for a detailed bill before paying the bill, they told me they were working on it, no answer just went ahead and ran my credit card anyway! They charge WAY more than what they advertise. Extra fees, random “administration fees” out of nowhere… absolutely ridiculous. Worst rental company I’ve dealt with. Never renting from them again.
