- MDMindy DangDec 7, 20252.0We had our rear windshield broken into and had Safelite repair the windshield per our auto insurance. The scheduling process was efficient and went very smoothly. The scheduler was great, clear, and communicated well. However, the actual window installation was rough. There is still broken glass in the rear hatch of the car (you can hear it rattling around when you open and close the trunk - they did not thoroughly clean the glass out before replacing the windshield, which will lead to more work for us. I do NOT have the time to be bringing my car back to Safelite for this.) AND the technician that worked on the car left all his tools IN the car. The window is fine, but the work was sloppy.
