  Very disappointed in roadside service support for a flat tire. Ended up leaving car and using Lyft because National could not get me a replacement or change tire in a time period less than several hours.

  Had a great experience renting a car from National at Houston Intercontinental. I used the National Emerald Aisle with online checkin and it was a breeze. Likewise the return was hassle free with no waiting. No lines at any time.

  Amazing experience. Best car i have ever had while renting from anywhere in the world. I was initially booked with Alamo but the counter was closed and the signs mentioned that National car can help me. Sam on the counter was so helpful and she processed my rental with a debit card as swiftly as possible. When i went up to get my car. I was treated with 7-8 different options. All amazing rides. I took a Genesis GV80 and to my surprise it was brand new. With only 3-4 miles on the odometer. The person there also helped me on how i can install a toddler seat. The return experience was great as well. Just came back, showed that the fuel is full and that's it. Got the receipt of everything paid.

  I’ve noticed a trend recently of National attempting to charge me for additional fuel, even after I have filled the rental with fuel before return. This is a petty attempt to bilk more money from customers. This has happened on my last four rentals with National, requiring me to show my gas receipt to the rep and having them remove the charge from my bill. This last time however, I had to go through three layers of management to get the charge dropped and was told repeatedly that “ it’s only a few dollars “ by multiple employees, indicating to me that this statement is the corporate line to tell customers. I am going to pass this info to my corporate, letting them know National is utilizing nickel and dime tactics, and to consider a different vendor in the future.
