  My car is spotless at all times. I got the unlimited package and i go through it everyday. Have been using them for 2 years now and the wash gets better day after day.

  I have an unlimited membership so I can get as many car washes as I want, but I have to pay and additional fee of $15.99 for a team to vacuum?? No thanks! I came to this location for convenience since I was this side of town, but I’ll just drive to my usual one on Washington Avenue and vacuum it myself 😌✨ Only plus is that their soap has a scent and Washington does not.

  Staff was great but I got the basic wash and it did a horrible job, my car is still dirty. Probably only took less than a minute to go through the whole wash, the spinners barely even touched my car on the sides, soap didn’t seem to coat the whole car, and no scrubbers even touched the back of my car, which was the part I wanted cleaned the most. My front and back windshields look exactly like they did before the wash, dirt still visible on the parts my wipers can’t reach. In my opinion, this is not even a “basic” wash.

  Not many years ago this Gessner location was a solid Mister Car Wash. Most convenient location for me but the wash is so poor now. Why? Lots of broken and poorly maintained equipment that always takes forever to get fixed. One example. That rotating cloth at the end that dries your windshield? For the last two years it was just a part time employee here. Usually when it was “running” it would just spin high up in the air never coming down close to anyone's windshield. It was a funny the first few times. But then it never got fixed. They don't notice? Don't care? Don't know how to fix it? Odd because those things always works fine everywhere else. Gessner took the whole thing out a few months ago. I figured yay, it'll finally get fixed or replaced. But no sign of that yet. The spinning brushes that clean the sides of your car are a mess now. For a few weeks this summer the brushes on the passenger side were spinning, but the brushes were way off to the side, never touching the car. Each time I went back and that brush was still spinning around over in la la land, I wondered – how that can possibly go unfixed for so long? They don't notice? Don't care? Don't know how to fix it? Cut to last week. I drove up at 10 am. The gate lifted and I drove to the car wash. No attendant. As I sat there with nothing else to do, I looked up and realized the first sets of rotating brushes on both sides had "holes" in them -- multiple missing brush components right where they’d make contact with everyone's side view mirrors. Makes sense the brushes would wear out there first. But why would a car wash let them fall into visible disrepair on BOTH SIDES and still do nothing about it? They don't notice? Don't care? Don't know how to fix it? The attendant arrived and in I go. At the end (still no drying cloth) there were now streaks of sticky new goo on the windshield. Wasn't there before the wash. Tried to use my wipers to get it off but it just smeared even bigger. Ugh. Turned around and went through again. At the gate, a nice young lady greeted me with a friendly wave. I rolled down the window and said something like, “Hey, no big deal, but my windshield is dirtier now than before the wash.” She said something appropriate like, “Oh no, that’s now what we want.” Her supervisor saw us talking and walked over. The first employee got quiet and moved out of range. Smart girl. I complimented the first employee's great demeanor to her boss. Then I shared the same observations. The boss promptly disagreed. Said there was nothing on my windshield and their equipment is perfect. I should have said thanks have a nice day right there, but it was such an odd thing to hear that I said, "Well, the circular brushes on both sides at the front end of the wash are damaged and the rotating cloth at the end has been missing for months?" She smiled and said, "Oh, that thing's never coming back." I asked, "Why not, they're at every other Mister Car Wash?" She smiled again and said, "No, we don't have those anywhere else." So I smiled back and listed the nearby MCW locations where they always work fine. Since it was a total waste of time I said, "Thanks and have a great day," and used the broken car wash again. Now I drive to the MCW locations at either 3522 Washington Avenue or 10760 Westheimer Road when I have time. Huge upgrades over Gessner. Car comes out sparkling and the equipment at both locations is carefully maintained. Worth the extra half hour it takes. The Gessner in Memorial City should be a premium location. It’s probably a cash cow although they've let everything slide. The food at a restaurant with an incredible view can be below average, but we all go anyway because the location is exceptional. Same thing here. I wish they'd do better here. They could start by having the management team at either the 3522 Washington Street or 10760 Westheimer location come over and run the Gessner location for a month. Everyone would learn something new and the paying customer would benefit.
