Unethical Shakedown – They Threatened Our Family’s Credit I am beyond disgusted with how Enterprise at the Panair St. location handled a "damage claim" against my husband. He returned the car in perfect condition, was told by the employee on-site that he was “good to go,” and we thought that was the end of it. Weeks later, they slapped us with a $1,156 bill for "damage" that happened after he had already handed over the keys. For three months, my husband tried to resolve this professionally. He sent multiple emails to Tristan Martinez and the Damage Recovery Unit asking them to simply look at their own security footage to prove the car was fine at drop-off. They completely ignored him for 90 days. Instead of an investigation, we received a threatening "Final Notice" from Rebecca Laini stating they would send us to collections and ruin our credit if we didn't pay immediately. They wouldn't provide proof, wouldn't answer emails, and wouldn't look at their own cameras—they just held our credit score hostage until we paid. We ended up paying the fee under protest just to protect our family’s financial future from their threats. This is predatory behavior. If you value your peace of mind and your bank account, stay far away from this Enterprise location.

Predatory Damage Claims and Total Lack of Accountability I am a loyal customer who was forced to pay $1,156 for "damage" that did not exist when I returned my vehicle to the 8601 Panair St. location. At drop-off, I was explicitly told by the attendant I was “good to go” after he inspected the car. Weeks later, I was hit with a massive claim. I spent three months (December through February) attempting to resolve this in good faith. I sent four separate detailed emails to Tristan Martinez (Branch Manager) and the Damage Recovery Unit, requesting a simple review of the return-area camera footage to prove the car’s condition. My professional inquiries were met with total silence. The only time Enterprise decided to communicate was through Rebecca Laini (Recovery Specialist), who sent a "Final Notice" threatening to turn me over to collections and ban me from all future rentals (Alamo, Enterprise, and National). They ignored my evidence-based disputes for 90 days, then used my credit score as a ransom note to force payment. I have paid this $1,500 under formal protest and economic duress just to protect my credit. This isn't a business; it’s a shakedown. If you rent here, take a 360-degree video of the car in front of the employee, or they will take advantage of you the moment you walk away.

I want to recognize Shelby Bell for the outstanding service she provided during our recent Enterprise rental for our trip to Galveston and the Houston area. From the beginning, Shelby was incredibly supportive, professional, and genuinely invested in making sure everything went smoothly for us. She didn’t just process a rental. She acted like a true partner in our travel plans. When we originally booked, we were told we wouldn’t be able to take the vehicle directly to Galveston. Instead of leaving it at that, Shelby took the time to look into it further. She followed up, clarified the options, and ultimately helped us adjust the plan so we could take the vehicle and even keep it a little longer before drop off. That flexibility made a huge difference for our trip. It reduced stress, simplified our logistics, and allowed us to fully enjoy our time away. Shelby provided excellent customer service with warmth, clear communication, and a proactive approach. You can tell she cares about her customers and takes pride in doing things the right way. Enterprise is lucky to have her. We truly appreciated her support.

Thank you, Socheata Moeung, for helping me out with the car. You were really a lifesaver. I was devastated to find out that after making a reservation through Enterprise customer service over the phone, there were no XL SUVs available for me - which I absolutely needed for the second day at 5AM in the morning. The location only had one L vehicle available that evening, and it had already been reserved for someone else. Socheata went above and beyond, working closely with her manager to try to accommodate me, and they were able to find a car! I am incredibly grateful for your effort and kindness. Thank you again, Socheata.

I had an outstanding experience this past Friday afternoon at the Hobby location. Cameron delivered a level of professionalism and customer care that truly stood out. He was attentive, efficient, and confident from the moment I arrived. His supervisor, Denaus, was equally supportive, and together they made the experience seamless. I rent frequently and understand what standard service looks like. This visit exceeded expectations and restored my confidence after a couple of less impressive visits. Recognition is deserved when service makes a difference. Cameron represented the brand exceptionally well.
