  Generally Enterprise are my go to rental company, however on this occasion they have really let me down. I booked online for a one way from Houston Airport to Corpus Christi- I was on a 10.5 hour flight and pre-checked in to avoid any further delay in my travels. This meant going straight to the lot and picking up the rental, however I went to the lot, which had a line of people waiting to get their rentals and after a wait it was my turn. I proceeded to provide my details, drivers license and credit card and after some messing around was told that I would need to go to the desk to get my payment approved. Waiting inline again then was almost charged a significantly higher rate than what my online agreement had been. Back up to car lot and was told to proceed to barrier and exit with car. Got to barrier and had then to go back to kiosk as vehicle hadn’t been released. As can be imagined this was not much fun after 14 hours from setting off.

  Reserving a car through central reservations WAS A NIGHTMARE! I took a rideshare to an office that central reservations assured me had a vehicle, and gave me a confirm #. When I got there, they were surprised, because they didn't have a car for me. I found another way home that day, but learned: central reservations DO NOT KNOW WHICH OFFICES HAVE VEHICLES OR NOT. Go to the office directly and talk to the desk clerk IN PERSON.

  The process was easy and everyone was friendly. It was a very tense and unfortunate situation that I had to rent a car and they were the only friendly faces. I missed getting the name of the young lady that assisted me in Houston at the airport as I was exhausted but Nick A in Baton Rouge the next morning was cheerful, and very helpful in making sure I had a great experience.

  My family and I had an *exceptional* experience using Enterprise. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We did not have to wait in line and the online services were straight-forward and user-friendly. When our flight got cancelled, we contacted the helpline, and a staff member helped us extend our trip and provided us support throughout a very challenging situation, explaining that we could keep our rental car to drive back from Texas to a convenient location in Illinois. The car was perfect too. I could not recommend this company more and will use it for years to come!

  Nothing against the always on-point Enterprise staff, but I took a free upgraded to a full-sized Dodge Ram. I drive a full-size at home, so it'd just be easier. This was a fleet work truck. It was covered with big scratches. The truck had no step-up, and clearly had not been cleaned. It was unvaccumed and dusty. There was trash in bed. It drove nice, but had no navigation, nor Apple interface. Probably time to sell this truck off, folks.
