I was told I would receive a survey text, but instead got a message about my insurance accepting a body shop claim — even though the car had already been returned. When I checked my account, the $300 deposit hold showed I would only get $88 back. I called the store, and a young man named Christopher answered. He immediately became defensive and told me the car was returned two days late (10/15/2025), which was completely false. I went to the location in person and asked for a manager. Christopher claimed he was the manager and started arguing with me about the return. Only after pressing him did he say, “It was just a mistake — you’ll get your full refund. It’s not that serious.” His attitude was rude, unprofessional, and dismissive. It’s now clear this location has serious integrity issues. I’ve filed complaints with corporate and the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Based on my experience, it appears cars are being re-rented after being returned, and prior customers are later falsely charged for damages or late returns. Do not rent from this location. I’m now investigating how the vehicle I returned in perfect condition somehow ended up in a body shop claim under my name. Something is definitely not right here. Whatever scam they got going on ends with me.
