  UPDATE: I am not satisfied with the "Response from the owner", which is clearly a copied and pasted response, and does not specify a phone number or email address to contact them by. ORIGINAL: I walked/bussed over to the Enterprise® Rent-A-Car® location off of Katy Freeway to pay for a reserved car rental. When I presented my debit card to the customer service agent for payment, they required me to provide a utility bill, a cellphone bill, and a paystub. I immediately thought this was bizarre because I have never been requested such documents in order to make a debit card payment. I told the agent that I cannot provide a utility bill because my apartment unit is not billed directly for utilities because they are provided through my monthly rent payment. So they said that I could show them my apartment lease agreement instead. I was astonished that we were even talking about presenting my apartment lease contract in order for me to make a debit card payment. Before providing them the documents, I asked what my total was, and they told me it was $412.20 despite my confirmation email stating $112.20, which was calculated at $46.99 daily to rent an Economy car for two (2) days (plus some very minor fees that aren't worth mentioning here). The agent explained to me that the difference between the Estimated Total stated in my email confirmation ($112.20) versus the total at the time of rental ($412.20) was due to a $300.00 deposit. I was not made aware of this $300.00 deposit until I had already gotten there. Neither the confirmation email, nor the customer service agent who booked my appointment over the phone, mentioned this deposit. I will rent a car from another company that will be more upfront and straightforward with their costs than Enterprise® is.

  Amanda and Dustin at this location are the best! They were really patient and accommodating. I had a wonderful experience. They both gave me exceptional customer service. I'll definitely be back!

  I had a really good experience with this place. The people there are very friendly and understanding. I returned the car later than the original reservation time and they had not charged extra. They even offered me a ride back to my airbnb place nearby. I really appreciate it.
