  What... an absolute.... waste... of my time..... I went in for a battery for a 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Limited. The dude behind the counter got nothing on his screen. He consulted the god "Siri" who said it is a Schedule 35/Type 35 battery and even provided a part number. He tried to use that to look it up as being viable for my car. I told him to check the 2023 as well since it's essentially the same car. No dice, he couldn't get past 2024. Eventually he consulted another person there and they proceeded to tell me "that's because it's a hybrid battery". I asked what a "hybrid battery" is, OH, it's for a hybrid car. I told them the car isn't a hybrid to which they asked if the car was there. I said no, but it doesn't matter, I bought the car new, it's not a hybrid. At this they insisted that maybe I don't know. I told him a special-ordered the car. Everything from the color of the paint to the color of the carpet. I'm 100% certain it isn't a hybrid. That was when they told me that the only reason it wouldn't be in there system is if the car is a hybrid. Mabye I could bring the car to them. Wow.... They are basically telling me that ALL 2024 Subaru CrossTrek Limited are hybrids? No. It basically confirms that Autozone people don't know anything about cars other than what's in the computer. If it's not there, it doesn't exist. I said thank you, but no. I left, went to the O'Reilly less than 1/2 block away and had a new battery in 15 minutes.

  New store, very helpful folks. Jerrodi was super helpful in getting me a new battery installed. They took care of everything. Great location and very convenient to my neighborhood.

  Great service. Explained everything as they were going - without talking down to me (major plus). I have a complicated vehicle to replace the battery - and they did an excellent job - Brian and Chris were very helpful and professional. All other employees seemed to also be proficient and very helpful. Hope I don't have any more car trouble - but glad to know this new auto zone is here in case I do.
