  Last night I went to AutoZone to change both of my headlight bulbs, and I was struggling to take off one of my headlight caps, so a worker who by the name of Gerardo F, who had just finished giving another customer a diagnosis on their engine, stepped up and helped me change both bulbs with no issues whatsoever. His customer service and his work ethic was top tier!

  OMG!!! John was AMAZING!! I shared with him my car issues and he offered his opinions and they made so much more sense than what I had worked up in my head. He made me feel a little bit better about the stress I have been having with my car. Definitely hope to see him when I come back to this store

  I stop at several parts shops and this one has caught my eye specifically from the service “John” brought. He went above and beyond the moment I walked in the store and even held the door for me to enter. He was very patient while I gave him the vin number instead of the make and model of the vehicle and he kept a smile on his face. This is what a real human should do. Rather than AI or rude people. Excellent job!!

  I would like to sincerely recognize AutoZone Store #1471 in Houston (Montrose area) for their truly outstanding customer service. I have visited this location several times and always noticed their high ratings, but this time I personally experienced just how exceptional this team really is. I purchased a starter on June 25, 2025, and when I returned for a warranty exchange, the receipt was not showing in the system. Even with a busy store and customers waiting, the entire team remained patient, kind, and deeply committed to helping me. They searched thoroughly, called the 1-800 number, and even contacted the district manager while working hard to locate my purchase. Store Manager John Stanford was wonderful, and team members Cooper and David were equally kind, professional, and attentive — not only to me, but to every customer. I have personally seen them go above and beyond, even stepping outside to look under customers’ hoods and help diagnose issues. Their knowledge, skill, and genuine care truly set this store apart. This was not a quick or simple situation, but they stayed with it until everything was resolved, and I was able to receive my replacement starter under warranty. I was honestly so grateful I almost had tears in my eyes. If you are looking for an AutoZone where people truly care about you, your vehicle, and the details of service, AutoZone #1471 is the place to go.
