  After discovering our rental car did not have tail lights that worked, so driving at night without working tail lights would be illegal and I could end up with a ticket from the police and not to mention that I would have had to abandon the car to find my way home some other way, the Alamo Houston Help Desk insisted that i could return the car to them for a replacement. After explaining the problem to her and that I was 27 miles away and that I would have to drive on Beltway 8 to get back to Alamo, she didnt see anything wrong with returning the car.

  December 26th/25 we prepaid a suv trough a travel agency. We arrived 11 am. They told us and everybody that they don’t have any car and they will refund all payments. Of course Alamo ruined our vacations in Texas. Two months later my travel agency still sending daily messages and emails to Alamo and they don’t respond. What we can do to recover our money ? Is this has a name ? Any suggestion ?

  Closing time is at 1am, especially when you have reservations at 1230am after a red eye flight. And no cars available. The staff and business ethic is a joke.

  Upon return of the car, there was an extra charge automatically added to my invoice for gas. This was before inspection of the fuel gauge. This felt suspicious and intentional.

  Great check-in counter service. All the staff throughout the process were very helpful and friendly.
