- AAAhmad Al-Jabah4 days ago1.0I have a commercial account, went to the counter, the guy just kept going about his business like I wasn't even there. He looked at me, so I know he saw me. Went to the front and overpaid for bulbs on my acct. Asked for the cheaper bulbs and was told I had to go to the commercial counter, where I went in the first place. I didn't have time to play their games, so I overpaid and left. I will never return to this store.

I went to Firestone for a tire alignment and they tried to upcharge me and tell me I needed a bunch of stuff such as brake fluid, air filter, wind shield wipers, etc. I came here because the parts were cheaper. Henry showed me how to check the levels for brake fluid and wind shield wiper fluid and I saw that the only thing I needed was wind shield wiper FLUID, not the actual wipers (Firestone was definitely trying to rob me, I didn't even need the brake fluid and I'm so glad I came here after). Henry helped me with selecting the proper air filter and wind shield wiper fluid.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
