I called the store first since I was parked outside with my baby to confirm they had the wipers in stock. The lady on the phone checked and said they did. I explained that I was waiting for the rain to calm down so I could come inside with my baby and asked if someone could help me install them. She told me no because it was raining. I told her I understood but planned to come in once the rain stopped. She then told me again they would not be able to help! When the rain finally let up, just a few minutes later , instead of going inside, I drove to the AutoZone a mile away. The clerk there immediately helped me install the wipers—without me even asking—because he saw I had my hands full with my newborn. Shame on Advance Auto Parts. AutoZone, thank you for your kindness and great service!

Typically a car battery will last 2-5 years, with premium batteries lasting 5-6 years. But you should replace it every 4 years for safe measures if you want to avoid any unwanted problems.

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
