- JJJafWaf05903 days ago4.0I’m not fond of pushy salesmen of additional products and services. The employee who was trying to sell me a lot of extras was polite, but annoying. He showed me a new air filter and my vehicle’s air filter. My air filter was not dirty enough to replace. It was 95% white and some black smudging to indicate that it was not new. He advised my air filter was old and dirty and needed to be replaced. I told him my filter was in good condition and didn’t need to be replaced. I would admit that my filter wasn’t new. It didn’t need to be replaced. Honest and helpful feedback is always appreciated. My wife doesn’t like going to change the oil because of how pressured she feels to buy things she may or may not need. I would like to be asked if I would like a service or product. I would like an explanation why only if I had asked for one. Be honest, don’t tell me a good air filter needs to be replaced. Please just change my oil and oil filter, check the tires(11/20/25…the air compressor was broken), check other fluids, etc. and tell me if the fluids need a refill or top off. I had requested the service technician to change my rear window wiper blade upon arrival. That went well. Front’s were good. I had several services already completed at my auto mechanic’s shop. He didn’t seem to believe me and advised me of several services had not been documented, according to an auto service app like i.e. “givemethevin.com”. We bought our 2015 Toyota Highlander used a bit over 5yrs ago and it already had about 96,000 miles on it. I have spent some time typing this comment because it’s not the first time that I’ve mentioned this concern. In Summary, let your employees have fun at work and stop pushing for more unnecessary work. My bill was about $115+…. Valvoline Oil Change does good work. We’ve been customers for several years. - ASAlexandra Santamaria5 days ago2.0Very upset with this last service. 😡 I’ve been there before and it really depends on who helps you, but this last time the guy didn’t know how to clear the light that came on in my car for the service, he couldn’t put air in my tires, he didn’t know how to change the cabin air filter, and he didn’t tell me whether he checked or changed all the fluids. I paid extremely upset this time because it’s not cheap and the service was terrible. It’s a shame how much the place has deteriorated. I hope they improve their service next time, because it’s important to know who you’re hiring and whether they actually know how to do their job.

The two technicians who helped me were excellent. I had my oil changed, radiator fluid replenished, and replaced my filter and windshield wipers. The service was quick, excellent quality, and everyone was extremely polite and professional 10/10.
