- NNNPDC944 days ago1.0Update: I have brought several vehicles to this location, they have done a good job on other vehicles until today. I brought a truck in for a tire rotation and balance of a wheel yesterday, they stated that a lug was cross threaded coming off but the lug nut was perfectly fine, I just needed a stud replaced and I would have to come in today to have that done. They offered me a discount to leave a 5 star review yesterday, gave me my total for the work and said I am good to go, they would have me in and out today. No quote for the work, no talk of additional cost for the replacement of the stud. I’ve never seen a lug nut get put all the way on cross threaded and when it’s removed, it’s still good to be used again. I bet to wonder if this lug was cross threaded when they were putting the tires back on the truck, as that is when they brought this to my attention for the first time, and then they want to charge me to replace the stud that their technician cross threaded. From my experience, that is the only want you save a nut going on and it can be reused, not after it’s been threaded all the way on and torqued. Now today they want me to pay $220 for them to replace 2 studs and one lug nut, which was news to me, I was told it would be only 1 stud yesterday. It could’ve been just missed and not mentioned but that just seems crazy that my tire rotation was $75 with their “5-star review discount” and now I’m paying $220 to correct, to me, an issue they caused during re-installation of the tires. They also cannot do wheel alignment on crew cab trucks..
