A young man there told me he could not locate windshield wipers for my 2017 Ford Escape. He asked me if I knew model of my Escape and I didn’t know then he said if could get the VIN # it would indicate model info so I said I just bought this used car and still have paperwork with Vin# so I rushed out to my car with my cane in hand and lo behold the young man no where to be found. I wondered why he needed model number but I think he wanted to hide from me plus we had a huge language barrier. I looked over and saw one person at cash register locating parts for a customer and by that time there was a line forming all the way down the aisle so definitely short staffed. I was on my feet too long and my painful knee was getting all of my attn. moved down to Auto Zone and they too were busy and managed to move customers quickly. Michael S called for me and he was so caring to help me as I told him I was leaving for trip to Missouri that was important. When he was estimating my wipers size and ect. We went outside to make sure of size and he spotted a problem after taking off the old wiper blade. He spent a good HOUR trying to make my wipers work. I only had car for one week He is an important asset to Auto Zone and and used wipers first time and they screeched badly and Michael warned me not to use until I can get someone to fix the wiper falling apart as it would damage the glass. He worked so hard and hated to send me away with the wiper problem. He treated me with so much respect and his caring attention made me feel I could make the trip and praise Jesus the weather was perfect with sunshine. I’m now in Branson the weather looks promising with lots of sunshine for my trip home. Michael S. Is a very professional asset to Auto Zone!! THANK YOU Michael!
