Owners and front desk have changed but the mechanics are the same. Joe was great. Now, not so much. Terrible communication. Slow to solve additional issues they created. Left part of car off entirely and failed to put it back or mention it. Estimated double the labor cost and corrected that only when questioned. Worst repair experience in a decade.
I went to German Car Care based on a recommendation from a friend. They confirmed the recommendation through their great service and the people who work there. Now I’ll be the one recommending them to others. Keep up the good work!

Overpriced and poor service. Took my Mini Cooper S for an oil change. Tried to charge me for over $400 of service, said it included a cabin air filter change for $189 ($12 part) and lubing door hinges (really?). Needed my rear wiper washer fixed. They drained the fluid for the fix, didnt refill it amd didnt tell me. Went to refill and found they left off a bunch of the cowling amd battery cover attachment bullets, which I now have to replace.
Stay away.

Went in for brake check as it was a service due, and decided to go here instead of BMW dealership because of specialization and smaller business. What should’ve been a simple fix, or frankly just check, turned into a massive hindrance. Ever since taking it in, I’ve had a massive squeak anytime I touch my brakes. We went in a second time to let them know of this inconvenience in hopes that it was just a small mistake they could fix. However, they did a quick check and assured us there was nothing wrong and they only heard a tiny squeak. Mind you, the squeak is abnormally loud and can be heard from indoors. They claimed they did something to fix the problem, but lo and behold, it is still obnoxiously loud with a massive squeal every time the brakes are tapped, still no fix. What was supposed to be a simple maintenance check (with no squeak prior) turned into a great annoyance every single time I touch the brakes. Will not be coming back.

One star is very generous.
Zero stars would be a more reasonable rating.
I engaged the business with 1 request for maintenance.
The next day, they “found” discrepancies I didn’t ask them to look for, and were unrelated to the work I inquired about and authorized.
Then, they attempted to badger me, and hard sell invoicing 10 times the amount I agreed to.
A soft sell approach would have worked much better for the type of customer I represent.
After the berating, I decided I would rather send my property to the part yard or scrap yard before I would give them any more business.
But hey, if their arm twisting and hard selling of their services is working well for them and their customers, I would encourage them to continue down the same path.
My estimation of customers is, get to know them well enough to see what approach would be most appreciated by the individual customer.
I don’t begrudge them any success if they have more than enough customers who appreciate the approach of finding work not requested or appreciated, and are content to be pressured into agreeing with and approving.
Power to that business model if they have more than enough of those type of customers.
