Just picked up a 2026 Toyota Sienna from Shottenkirk Toyota of Granbury and had to share — the experience was excellent from start to finish. Christian on the sales side and Tyler in finance were both awesome to work with. They tracked down the exact color I wanted (which is notoriously hard to find on Siennas right now), gave me a great discount to sweeten the deal, and got me in and out quickly. No games, no pressure, just a smooth process from beginning to end. Huge shout out to Christian, Tyler, and the whole team at Shottenkirk Toyota of Granbury. If you’re shopping for a Toyota, these are the guys to see.

I mean …… I am so very old and bought so very many vehicles from dealerships. I’ve never had a salesperson turn me away because I would not pay the sticker price of a used car. I asked for help ….asked him if we couldn’t meet somewhere close to what I was asking, which was between trade and sticker $2500 off (I get that’s a lot), what was their best offer. I was met with silence. Cold. Didn’t even explain. Just silence. Finally I broke and said “so not going to do anything with either sticker or trade”. He answered no. He would find me a cheaper truck, but no. I don’t know, may be unfair in asking for anything …, but I truly believe I can find a truck of that value for less money. Happy for them that they can sell so many that they don’t need to negotiate, but I still think he could have communicated the stance a little differently. I’m sure there will be negative comments about this comment, but I know how it was handled and what good communication is and it just missed the mark.
Well, I was feeling bad about the 3 star, but STofG did not disappoint! lol. Tried to make the purchase and was going well until they told me I had +-$4k in mandatory options. What? Unknown to me, website did not have it included in the listed price, I was supposed to pay $900 for glorified paint protection, $1895 for ceramic (not sure if the old ceramic or one that may or may not have been installed, window tint +-$800 and $1,300 for an extended warranty. Good grief! Shouldn’t non optional “options” just be a part of the price? Clearly, the used car market has shifted a bit since my last used car.
At least now I don’t feel like I’m missing out on a good deal. Just a little deceptive don’t you think?

Bait and switch! This dealership advertised prices are not as they appear. They show you one price and get you all the way there to switch the price on you. Be careful of the pricing and remember you DO NOT by state law HAVE to purchase their VIP Confidence Package, regardless of what they tell you. The window tint package can be done elsewhere for a much better price than they offer, and the ceramic coating is a joke. DO NOT BUY FROM SHOTTENKIRK. Their sales team is great, especially Hayden, but their shady pricing tactics show that they can't be trusted with your car purchase. I would advise to just stay away and find another dealer you can trust.

The salesguy was nice but the used car prices listed online are to BAIT & SWITCH you!! They wanted to add 5-6k on top! I understand dealerships add 1-2k typically (often negotiable) but the non-negotiable amount they added was absurd! The manager talked over me to the point that I had to tell him to stop interrupting me. I drove an hour out and wasted my time. I was literally told "We just list our prices low in order to get people to drive all the way out to Granbury." because nobody is driving out there for the price I got. !!BAIT & SWITCH!!
It’s really simple: want to buy a truck? They’ll treat you decent and you could get a okay enough deal with their “add-ons” . Absolutely anything else? Not only are their workers dismissive, but they’re also disrespectful and dishonest. I purchased 2 vehicles from them last year, and I called yesterday to receive a simple copy of the transaction for tax purposes. What followed was 8 phone calls, 4 transfers to finance, and 6 different times being told “you’ll receive an email with the detailed information in the next 10 minutes”. A full 24 hours of this passes, I call back this morning, and the finance manager now says “It’s the weekend, we don’t do that on weekends. Call back Monday.” When I informed him of the saga the day before, which was a weekday, he states “not a weekend priority, call Monday”. That’s it. What I’ve now surmised looking through other reviews is they simply deleted some of the pertinent information, or they simply are bad people who don’t care about their customers the second you walk off the lot. For anyone curious, the other 3 dealerships my family purchased from? All received the recipes within 30 minutes (Shoutout Park Place Lexus, Toyota Pat Lobb, Autos of Dallas). Selling a car to someone isn’t the end of the customer life cycle, if you want them to come back, you need to treat them with respect, even if you aren’t going to make a buck off them in that moment. Incredibly disappointing, as they tend to have an excellent selection of vehicles, but anyone who reads this, heed my warning and look elsewhere.
