Turns out jiffy lube over filled the oil, and it was leaking getting all over the engine (messy job putting it in as well apparently). So now I’m out an additional $200 to get the engine cleaned and to make sure things stop leaking/ checking other things aren’t leaking. Supposed to be a simple oil change from jiffy and turned into a time and money suck. Save your money and do not go here! Original post: I guess my oil was changed so that’s what the one star is for. However, awful service. The young kid that was working with me didn’t know at all what he was doing. He asked me my mileage after the car was off and after they were working on it. I told him I could give the exact once I’m able to turn the car back on. He asked me to guess. I said around 76,000 (I was off by over 500 miles btw and corrected myself when I saw it). He then said it’ll be $118. I had to ask what he was using and if it would get me to the next 5k miles. He said synthetic and maybe. He wasn’t confident in his answers at all, but I felt like they were pretty simple questions I was asking. He then is gone for a while inside with my card, comes out and hands me a sticker without a due date on it and saying to come back when I hit 181,000 miles! Lol I’m no mechanic, but going from 76,560 to 181,000 mile without an oil change is WRONG. The only reason I came here is because my regular place is closed on saturdays, but I will gladly wait until they’re open next time - never coming back here again. And to be on the safe side, I’ll still be going back to my regular place when Monday comes around to ensure they actually replaced oil and put my air filter back in after they took it out. I have a hard time trusting this place now.
