Unprofessional , I spent 1 week being gaslit by this dealership only to discover they really wanted to sell the car to another person , took all my information , bank statements , documents everything virtually because my car died and no one had enough respect to even call me back . I was able to get the same vehicle at a dealership in Rockwall I was already preapproved through capital one no reason for this deal to be left on the table . If you are in a bad position needing a vehicle GO ELSEWHERE

I reached out to see if they could match a deal I already had on the table. The manager called me and initially seemed polite, but the conversation quickly shifted. He became pushy and spoke to me in a condescending manner that felt very disrespectful.
Despite advertising a stronger discount than my current offer, their numbers still came out to over $400 more per month. That alone was disappointing, but the tone and approach during the call made the experience worse. I hope this isn’t how they treat all potential customers.
I have purchased several vehicles from new to used for myself and my children. On this car purchase I can attest to it being by far a very pleasant experience. Everything from the initial online search of car inventory through to the final purchase was superb. The vehicle details and pics online were spot on including the online tools you could utilze being user friendly but accurate on various financing scenarios. Unlike the other cars we searched online and traveled to view at various other car dealers earlier that day. Only to find out how the cars were subpar being mismarketing online to entice potential buyers to waste their time driving there.
Ronnie Clark, who I will now refer to as our automotive transactional consultant, because of his phenomenal customer service with informative car details and enhanced by his pleasant persona was outstanding.
Trevor, the financier extradinaire, was excellent as well with solidifying the transaction with his patience and transparency of numbers.
Carla, the customer service representative, I spoke to two weeks after purchasing, was such a delight and extremely helpful.
Daniel Guzman, the Manager, was stellar in his performance on assisting me with my inquest.
I even have to give props to the lady refreshing the snacks and drinks. She was on it.
This Clay Cooley Cadillac establishment definitely has given great detail to excellence from their beautiful dealership facility to ensuring a wonderful customer service experience in any capacity all across every department. Definitely a repeat and referring client.
I’m not sure what’s changed—maybe more than just the name. I purchased my new Cadillac from Lone Star Cadillac while it was transitioning to Clay Cooley, and the new-car buying experience was outstanding. Mal, our salesperson, is an incredible person who truly went above and beyond to make the deal happen.
Fast forward to this week: I returned to the same dealership, now operating as Clay Cooley and in a new building, to look at a pre-owned vehicle. While Mal remains just as incredible as ever, my experience this time was very different. The pre-owned desk manager offered me $6,000 less on my trade-in compared to surrounding dealerships and $7,000 less than what offered by the same dealership a month ago. Needless to say, I was disappointed.
I genuinely hope that in the future Mal receives the support needed to continue delivering the kind of exceptional experience that initially earned my loyalty.

Strangest buying experience I have ever encountered.
As a senior citizen that likes to have a new vehicle every couple of years, I have been through the new vehicle purchase routine more times than I can remember.
After looking at all the local area Cadillac dealers it was only Clay Cooley (aka Lone Star Cadillac) that had the exact vehicle we were looking for in regards to exterior and interior colors, and equipment specifications,
We were able to come to an agreed drive out price fairly quickly, which was somewhat of a surprise, but that was the only easy part of the process.
A date and time was set for us to pick the vehicle up at the dealership, but once we arrived we could see that the car was still sitting on the showroom floor and were not given any explanation as to why it was not ready for us to drive it away as one would normally expect the new vehicle to have been detailed and full of gas, or in this case fully charged as it was an all electric that we bought.
Again, as Clay Cooley was the only local dealer that had the vehicle we wanted on the lot, we decided to proceed with the purchase.
The finance guy was pleasant but for what ever reason we were only given copies of the bill of sale (3 pages) out of the many pages we actually signed, and I had to go back to the dealer and ask for copies of all the pages that had our initials or signatures on.
During the process I had pointed out to the sales person a scratch on the passenger side front bumper. The sales person said he wanted to have that fixed and would bring the car to our home that night and I agreed to that. However, the real reason the sales person wanted to personally deliver the vehicle was so he could have time to charge it up, and I know this as I had the Cadillac app on my phone and could see the vehicle was being charged up after we had left the dealership.
To make matters worst when the sales person did deliver the car to our home he only had one key and said I needed to bring the car back to the dealership to get a second key programmed.
So I had to take the car back to get the second key and also to have the scratch sanded out, which was done at that time.
Not sure what to think about Clay Cooley Cadillac, but I know that I will be using a closer Cadillac dealer for any service.
It is now Feb 21, 2026 and I bought the vehicle back on Jan 9, 2026 and paid cash. I still have not receive my title or registration for the vehicle.
I knew from past experiences that it was generally the sales person that initiated the sale that was responsible to make sure the client get these documents so I contacted the sales person that sold me the vehicle to see if he could help me and was told that he no longer works at Clay Cooley. Surprise, surprise?
After repeated attempts to contact the finance manager that handled our paperwork with the phone ringing with no answer and no option to leave a voice mail, I was finally able to get a hold of the internet sales manager and he determined that my registration sticker was still sitting on someone's desk at the dealership and he promised to have it mailed to me. Hopefully that will happen soon.
As far as the title I am still trying to contact the finance person Dallas Iwu that processed our paperwork. The reception person said she would give him my name and phone number to call back, but that has not happened yet.
Very frustrating to deal with this dealership after the sale is finalized.
