So I left then i checked my email it said your item has been picked up. I called the store, they said that i have to comeback and talk to the manager. hello, you have the camera, you can check if i get the part on that day/time. Not recommend this store.

And supposedly it’s because they are on different “systems“. This is 2025. You should be able to take a part back to any store at any time with no problem. And good luck trying to get help on the phone. You pretty much have to walk in to get anything done. Now as to why they make it difficult to return things, I’ll let you kind of figure it out, but the hint is that the harder they make it to return things the more money they make because people don’t return stuff. It’s probably just that simple. Make it difficult make it to where you have to drive across town And you might not do it and they pocket the money.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
