- MMMona4 days ago1.0On January 8, 2026, we had an extremely deceptive and unacceptable experience at Brake Plus – 16151 Eldorado Pkwy #200, Frisco, TX 75035. My boyfriend went in for a full synthetic oil change and left with a $1,300 bill due to upselling and charges that were never clearly disclosed or approved. He agreed to replace a low battery and was told that only “half” of his spark plugs were bad, so he agreed to replace those — yet he was charged for 16 spark plugs. On top of that, they added a $500 labor charge that was never communicated beforehand. No estimate, no transparency, no consent — just a shocking final bill. When I called to question the charges and request a correction, I was told I needed to speak to the manager (Keleigh Axelrod) and was then hung up on when I asked to be transferred. This experience felt misleading, predatory, and completely unethical. Do not trust their pricing, their recommendations, or their transparency. I strongly recommend going elsewhere. I do expect to be contacted with a remedy for this very unfortunate interaction before I escalate this further.

The store is clean and the staff is friendly, but more important from anything else, they are honest. They will tell you if a service or repair is not necessary. All repairs and services I have had done have been great and reasonably priced. I should have come here way sooner!
