  We were standard in a near by neighbor. We came in and bought some coils and spark plugs. Then later we realized that we couldn't do this ourselves. We called up to the store and asked if there was a mechanic that wouldn't charge too much to do the job. Jennifer came out and had the job done within 20 mins. The mobile mechanic was going to take too long to do it. My car runs great and she got me back up and running in no time. I understand this isn't normal work to be done, but I am very grateful and I highly recommend this store. Thank you for your kindness and all your help.

  I’ve been running my own shop for a while and have a commercial account with AutoZone. I’ve been to just about every location in DFW and never had an issue until this one. I showed up right before closing (around 10:56 PM) because I had a customer broken down on the side of the road who needed a part ASAP. I was literally on the phone with them at the counter trying to get it handled quickly. When I gave my phone number for my commercial account (like I always do), the employee, Phillip, decided to call my phone to “verify” me. That disconnected my call with my stranded customer. I made a light comment about it, and instead of just moving forward, he escalated things and refused to serve me. He kept insisting on a commercial account number which most people don’t have memorized despite the fact that my phone rang right in front of him. At that point, it was 10:58 and the store was about to close. I ran out to my car to grab an invoice just to prove something I had already proven. I paid and got the part but even after all that, the attitude was still disrespectful on the way out. I’m not asking for special treatment, just basic professionalism especially when someone is trying to help a customer stuck on the side of the road. This was handled poorly from start to finish. I’ll be reaching out to corporate because this is not how you treat commercial customers.

  PHILLIP was absolutely amazing!!! He helped me with my rear end tail lights, batteries for my key fob, found the engine oil I needed and also helped me replace my hood “arms”. He went above and beyond and I’m so super impressed with his knowledge , expertise and professionalism… He needs a raise ! Highly recommend asking for him at this location!
