- RYR YSep 15, 20255.0I had a great experience at the store. I need to have my battery check and the young man immediately grabbed his battery tester and walked with me to my car. He tested my battery and confirmed what I had figured, I needed a new battery. We went back inside so I could purchase the new battery. But the store was experiencing an issue with there point of sale system. The young man helping tried several times to find me in the system by entering my phone number but it wouldn't work. He then asked an older gentleman to help. The older gentleman apologized that they were having problems processing the sale. I didn't mind the wait because the issue was out of their control. After a few more tries the gentleman was able to get my transaction completed and I finalized my purchase. Both of these gentleman were professional and made my experience very pleasant. Moments before I had just left the Oreilly store across the street where I left without purchasing due to horrible customer service. I'm glad I made the decision to go to Auto Zone. I am a former general manager of 30 years with a wholesale club store. It's great to see that there are still some employees that are able to provide great customer service. I will be back.
