This place is awful. Slow slow slow. Literally watching 3 people stand around and do nothing. Been here for 20 minutes so far and only had one gentleman grunt at me. Dirty dirty dirty shop. I will not be back again for any services Awful! Awful! When I arrived there were 2 cars in the bays. Now there are 7 cars backed up. 15 minute oil change is a farce!

Arrived at 1:41 PM. There were three lines with two cars in each. It’s now 3:25 PM and I’m still waiting to be helped. I haven’t spoken with anyone beyond requesting an oil change. I’ve just been sitting in my car watching employees stand around. I’m not sure if it’s a lack of urgency or poor workflow, but something in the process needs to change. I might not have been so upset if we’d been warned ahead of time it was going to take this long. The gentleman said it’d be a 30-35 minute wait. And it’s not like we can just leave, there is a narrow lane with about six cars behind us. Never ever coming here again.
Updated Review:
My total visit time today was 2 hours and 23 minutes (from 1:41 PM to 4:04 PM). It was 1 hour and 55 minutes before anyone even approached my vehicle to begin the oil change. Sitting in the car that long with no communication was extremely frustrating.
I also want to address the conflicting information I received about the oil-life interval. When I asked how long the full synthetic would last, the technician was polite and straightforward and told me he wasn’t sure because he wasn’t a CSR. I asked if he could check with one, and he did, but every time he relayed one of my follow-up questions to the CSR, the CSR looked increasingly irritated. It was clear he didn’t appreciate being questioned, even though I was just trying to understand the information I was being given.
The explanations kept changing each time the CSR answered. I was told full synthetic was only good for 3,000 miles, and that this was because my vehicle has stop/start and that this was “manufacturer recommended.” But the numbers shifted each time I asked for clarification. To double-check, I called a different Valvoline location afterward, and after confirming the year, make, and model of my Jeep, they told me the interval should be closer to 10,000 miles. That leads me to believe the issue here is, inconsistent training or inaccurate information being given at this specific store.
For fairness, I do want to note that Zach the technician handling my car was respectful the entire time. The problem was the long wait time, the lack of communication, and the CSR’s attitude and inconsistent answers, which made the experience overall very frustrating.
