I initially chose it out of convenience because it’s close to me, but I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. I travel frequently for work, and every time I’ve used this location there has been an issue. I’ve made reservations and still had to wait for a vehicle—sometimes over an hour. At other locations, I arrive, get the keys, and leave within 10 minutes. I use company insurance that’s tied to my corporate national profile, and it’s never a problem anywhere else. At this location, however, they consistently can’t locate it, forcing me to contact my HR representative in another state. When I’ve raised this issue in the past, I’ve been told, “We don’t see it, and we don’t need to make it a thing.” On one occasion, employees believed a cellphone had been left in a vehicle I rented and contacted me after I had already left. I was required to turn around and return to the facility, only for them to later realize the phone was not in my vehicle. Even vehicle drop-off, which should be the simplest part of the process, is unnecessarily drawn out. At other locations, I walk in, return the keys, and receive an emailed receipt in under 30 seconds. Here, you’re made to wait however long it takes just to hand over the keys. Going forward, I’ll be using other facilities that clearly have better procedures in place to get customers in and out efficiently. If you need a rental car, I’d recommend going elsewhere.
