However, when they came in to specify which oil service I wanted, I told them clearly “the standard full service oil change” that they have priced at $57.99. When I went to pay, the total cost (with a $20 off discount I got in the mail) was $96.93. When I asked why it was that much, they told me they did the oil service that was the next level up (synthetic blend oil change) from what I asked for (full synthetic oil change). I told them I asked for their standard oil change, not the next level. They just went on to explain that that only covers up to 5 qts and my van took 6.4 and that it’s an additional $11 for every quart added. So what should have been like $70 without the discount, ended up being over $100 without it because they did not do the service I asked for. I’m frustrated that I wasn’t listened to and would suggest to them: please listen to what your customers are asking for. Especially if you want them to come back.
