In fact, the cashier at the front was attentive and even asked if everything was all right. The problem was really just with the person making the sandwiches—his attitude and expression made it obvious he didn’t want to be there. If he really doesn’t want to work in a customer-facing job, maybe he should find something else that doesn’t involve dealing with customers.
