We went to Mavis Tires and Brakes in Denton for what should have been a simple tire change, and they made multiple careless mistakes that we only discovered later at the authorized service center. They did not tighten the lug nuts properly, damaged our TPMS sensors, and also messed up the wheel alignment. Because of their incompetence, our vehicle started acting strangely, and when we finally took it to the dealership, it cost us a fortune to fix their mistakes. When we went back to Mavis to explain what happened, the owner was extremely rude and arrogant. Instead of listening, he shouted at us, refused to take any responsibility, and literally told us to get out of the shop. No professionalism. No accountability. No basic respect. I don’t want anyone else to go through what we experienced. Avoid this place at all costs. They are completely incompetent and dishonest.

I have questions about their honesty. Once I said I wanted to get a second opinion on the litany of faults they claimed to find with my car, and needed the list they compiled, I was denied the document. Never again.

After receiving conflicting advice from two shops about my alignment, one shop suggested I need new struts, while the other recommended replacing my sensors. I came here for a third opinion. The front desk staff was professional and straightforward, and did not try to upsell me anything. Informing me that I only needed a basic alignment. They also suggested shifting my subframe, but advised being cautious about trusting anyone but the dealer. I even spoke with the alignment specialist, and it went the same way- no nonsense, to the point, and confirmed everything. My car is running beautifully now, and I'll definitely return for future services!
