I turned in a rental on Friday, and called the same day about my glasses being left. An employee specifically told me they were found, and they had a few pairs matching the exact description of my glasses. Once I got there, the front desk employee played dumb and acted like we had not spoken literally 5 minutes prior to my arrival. She continually offered me OTHER PEOPLES sunglasses from the "lost and found bin", and said they would "Keep an eye out for my Ray Bans". ALL I HAVE BEEN MET WITH SINCE BEING TOLD MY SUNGLASSES WERE FOUND IS LIES!!! I have reported this to corporate, and they are very much so aware of the situation!

She turned it in on 9/19, which they have in their records, but said they made a mistake and thought she didn’t turn it in until 9/24 which is why money was taken from her on 9/28. They admitted it was their mistake and immediately started the refund process so she could get that money back in 1-2 days. Fast forward 4 days she finally has her money, but only $114 was refunded, meaning she still is owed $20! It doesn’t matter what their excuse is or reasoning for not refunding it all, she wasn’t even supposed to pay a DIME because the guy who hit her cars insurance was supposed to cover it all. We thought this place was sketchy when they asked for a deposit knowing she didn’t plan to pay anything for the rental, but we went with it and now they’re just stealing money from her. Being college students living paycheck to paycheck it sucks being preyed on by companies like these, because for the last few days she hasn’t been able to get groceries because they took this money, and now, we’re short $20 on rent that’s due today because this place is playing in her face! Trust, you guys will be getting a phone call when you open.
