I have had to replace my rear differential 3 times in 3 1/2 years. First two times were covered under warranty. I expressed this concern back in February and was told the whining noise was from my tires. Even though I knew it was the differential. Now I’m being told it’s $7000 to repair a part that I have had to replace almost EVERY YEAR. I expect more out of Cadillac. This differential issue is absolutely ridiculous

I have consistently serviced my vehicle at Sewell Cadillac and have long associated the Sewell name with a higher standard of service.
However, this most recent experience fell short of that expectation.
At approximately 60,000 miles, I was presented with over $5,000 in repairs, largely driven by mechanical wear items such as engine mounts and shocks. While I understand these components can fall under normal wear and tear, it is difficult to reconcile how none of these issues were identified or communicated during prior service visits—particularly given that all maintenance has been performed at your location.
Having previously met Carl Sewell and read A Customers For Life, I would have expected a more proactive and continuous service approach. Items of this nature typically develop over time, and earlier visibility would have allowed for a more measured and manageable path forward.
Instead, the lack of continuity resulted in a significant, one-time repair event that should have been anticipated.
I proceeded with the repairs, but this experience has impacted my confidence in the service process and will factor into my decision regarding future service and vehicle purchases.

I needed my Cadillac Escalade in for an open recall and oil change, and Sewell Cadillac got me scheduled for the same day. They were quick to accommodate my request, had me in and out efficiently, and even had loaner vehicles available so I wasn’t stuck waiting.
The entire process was smooth, professional, and hassle-free. This was exactly the kind of premium service I expect from a Cadillac dealership. Great communication, no unnecessary delays, and friendly staff throughout.
I highly recommend Sewell Cadillac for service, recalls, or any maintenance needs. I’ll definitely be returning for future visits!

On my way to surgery yesterday morning and fourteen miles away, the tire on my 2021 Escalade must’ve picked up a nail and just popped. I watched my tire pressure go from 36psi to 0psi in less than sixty seconds. I limped off the highway and called Sewell.
The roadside assistance team was backed up but Trey Harrison was a rock star and took charge. Jose showed up in fifteen minutes with a black Escalade ESV filled with hydraulics, power tools, wheel lock keys, and get this: fully inflated tires on 22 inch wheels that fit my vehicle! I was back on the road less than 26 minutes after I made the call, and made it in time to work without a hitch.
This is my fourth Escalade ESV since 2011 and I’ll tell you the sales, service, and roadside teams are badass through and through. Ive always liked the Cadillac brand because it is a tasteful symbol of quiet and humble yet unparalleled American technological ambition and prowess. But even if you don’t, I would advise anything that Sewell sells. The respect that they give to their customers is second to none, and their service is simply the best I’ve had for any of the twenty or so vehicles I’ve owned in my lifetime. The brand is what lured me to this dealership fifteen years ago, but the ownership experience is what has kept me coming back to Sewell vehicle after vehicle.
Thank you Trey and Jose for salvaging my day, helping me in my time of need, and helping me help others in theirs. I will always remember, appreciate, and speak highly of you and your team!
