    I had a very disappointing experience at this Sixt branch. From the moment I walked in, there was no welcoming attitude at all. Both the front desk employee and the manager—who introduced himself as “DJ”—were unhelpful and dismissive. I intended to use my debit card for the deposit. I was then asked to provide utility bill information. While I was later told this information exists on the Sixt website, I did not reserve through the website—I used the Sixt mobile app, and this requirement is not mentioned anywhere in the app or in the “what to bring” section. I had reviewed that information carefully before arriving. I politely tried to bring this to their attention and asked them to look at the app with me, but they refused to even check it. Instead, I was told to leave immediately, which was completely unprofessional and unnecessary. To be clear, I am not disputing Sixt’s policies or legal requirements. My disappointment is with the customer service and the manager’s behavior, especially when a customer reasonably points out that important information should be consistent and clearly listed in the app. I have rented from the Los Angeles Sixt branch before and did not experience any of these issues, which suggests this is a branch-level problem, not a company-wide one. I hope the owners or corporate management see this review and take action. This type of service reflects poorly on the company and is harmful to future customers.

    Save yourself the trouble and the headache. I rented a car from Sixt and their app glitched when I tried to extend the rental. I was given multiple ticket numbers, promised follow-up that never happened, and instead received a threatening letter demanding the vehicle and throwing around legal threats. On top of that, I was quoted multiple conflicting balances by different Sixt employees, and despite repeated requests, no one could produce a basic itemized bill. That’s either gross incompetence or deliberate deception. Then they charged $820.00 to my card with no explanation or authorization. Completely unacceptable. I am disputing the charge and reporting this to the BBB and other consumer protection agencies. This company is a disaster. This is the worst customer experience I’ve ever had and easily the most incompetent customer service I’ve dealt with. Sixt’s terrible reputation is absolutely earned.

    It's pointless to come here and respond to my review if you don't take any effective action. To this day, I haven't received any feedback on my case. My sun glasses simply disappeared, and no one from the company has responded to my request. Terrible customer service!
