    I recently made a service appointment to take care of some overdue safety recalls and was also getting a diagnostic evaluation regarding some idling issues. While making the appointment, I was asked if a loaner vehicle would be required. To which I replied yes. However upon arrival for my appointment, I was informed that my insurance company was insufficient for Sewell’s loaner vehicle program. I then asked to speak to the Service Advisor so I could discuss the scope of this visit in order to minimize waiting. After 20 minutes of no response and not seeing my name on the Service Schedule Board, I began looking for a Service Advisor and noticed my car was in the exit lane. So basically I wasted 75 miles round trip and a total of 3 hours for nothing. No, “I’m sorry we should have mentioned something about insurance when we spoke on the phone” I would not have included my 93 year old mother with medical needs for such a wasted trip. I don’t think that Sewell will be able to make this right and I doubt that they care.

    I have had nothing but top-notch service experiences at Sewell Subaru. They generally take the time to do a full inspection on every visit, and they've caught things that needed to be fixed before they became problematic on multiple occasions. I also like how they have always had substantial loaner car availability; it has made repairs far less of a headache. Furthermore, their prices for routine maintenence (e.g. oil change) are competitive, and the service advisors I've had (Samantha and Jon) were nothing but kind, attentive to detail, and on top of things. I highly recommend Sewell Subaru for all service needs.

    I had a great experience today at Sewell Subaru Dallas after a test drive with Trevor Andrews. He asked thoughtful questions, really listened to what I valued, and offered recommendations that actually made sense for what I’m looking for. He was also incredibly timely and efficient - I had another commitment that required me to leave by a certain time, and he managed the entire visit perfectly so I could be out the door on time. I’d happily go out of my way to work with Trevor again in the future.. he made the entire experience easy, thoughtful, and genuinely enjoyable. I also service my current Subaru at this location, and every visit has been consistent: friendly team members, quick turnaround, and my car always comes back spotless. This is truly a dealership where you feel like you’re part of the Sewell family. Exceptional customer service every single time.

    I just wanted to share my sincere appreciation for the incredible service experience I received at Sewell Subaru. My Service Advisor Samantha was always quick to reply to my questions by text - even easier! - even when she was out sick one day! That's SUPER SERVICE. She also was very helpful in finding some creative alternatives to helping us get our issue solved. I also was especially appreciative that any thing I asked about like an issue with the door window even out of warranty, she immediately offered what they could do to clean it and in effect repair it and at no charge. Sewell also always treats you like family with loan cars and free car washes. Also props to my tech Michael who was super quick and did a great job on my repairs. Also when you are out of warranty, Sewell treats you just like you just bought it from them. The Sewell waiting area is also very comfortable and inviting with a place to work, play with your kids and free WiFi, gourmet coffee and even snacks - I couldn't believe it! Service your car there - you will love it!!!

    I had high hopes for Sewell when I purchased my car from them but I had a terrible service experience today. I dropped my car off in the morning with no appointment and was “helped” by Ryan. I told him I needed an oil change and loaner please since I had some meetings I had to attend at work. He said okay we’ll get it done and wash and vacuum your car after. He had a bit of an attitude and was short with his responses. I gave him my keys and went inside for someone to help me get a loaner. Then silence I didn’t hear anything until 3pm - an hour after I reached out asking for an update. They weren’t going to have my car done until 5pm. 8 hours for an oil change is ridiculous and ZERO communication? Come on! I drove over at 5 and as I was at the cashier Ryan calls me surprised I’m already there even though his texts said the technicians would be done by 5. He takes his time coming over with the paperwork to the cashier and just stares me. I say thanks and let him know I gave the valet my loaner keys. He says they’ll get my car and walks away. His communication skills are awful. On top of that no one was there to bring me my car until another service person noticed me waiting for a while and asked for my name. Finally after 8+ hours I get my car and realize they didn’t vacuum it. LOL For a company that prides itself on customer service so much they definitely missed the mark today.
