My husband and his company recently purchased a beautiful Cadillac Escalade from Sewell Cadillac, and we could not be happier with the experience.
We worked with Mr. Bush and Jacoby Hall, and both were absolutely wonderful. Sewell is truly an amazing company — professional, gracious, and genuinely focused on their customers.
I especially want to recognize Jacoby Hall. He spent weeks helping us find the perfect Escalade, stayed in constant communication, and was incredibly patient and attentive throughout. He even brought the vehicle to us so we could see it in person before deciding. He was patient and very helpful. He went above and beyond any car-buying experience I’ve ever had. That level of dedication is rare and deeply appreciated.
Thank you to Jacoby Hall, and the entire Sewell Cadillac team for taking such great care of my husband and making his new car purchase such a positive and memorable experience. I will recommend my entire family to buy from Jacoby and Sewell. We highly recommend Sewell Cadillac!

Exceptional experience with Sewell. Josh Davis made the entire process fast, seamless, and stress-free, while still taking the time to thoroughly review the vehicle’s features. Absolute professional.
Hollis Guerry went above and beyond—picked us up from the airport and surprised us with a gift card to my favorite restaurant in a Grateful Dead wallet after picking up that it’s my favorite band. Thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely impressive service.
Highly recommend Sewell, Josh, and Hollis to anyone—local or out of state. This is how car buying should be done.

One of the worst experiences with a dealership I’ve had.
I came here for a specific Escalade since their website that is never updated showed 4-5 in stock. I was told the website is outdated by a few weeks but not to worry Sewell has a large family of stores and they assured me they could find one. I explained I absolutely didn’t want to have one built and shipped they promised that wouldn’t happen. Then proceeded to fill me with all the “Sewell family” hoopla. After a couple of hours Scott Dulin/ sales advised me he has located what I want in Oklahoma and it is being shipped, and worst case scenario he has 2 others as back ups at other locations. So then after another couple of hours negotiating the deal I was finally allowed to leave.
Zero follow up from Scott , so I kept having to check in to find out the status of the vehicle. After a few days I was told they had one locally but they just purchased that dealer and logistically it’s a mess so bear with him. After a week I reach out again, and again and finally almost 2 weeks later I’m told they sold the local one , and when I asked about the one that was being shipped he acted like I was crazy.
I finally asked for a manager and was given over to Wesley Peters, who informed me the Oklahoma vehicle never existed he wasn’t sure why that was even discussed and that this other dealer was not purchased by them just was trying to buy it to sell the truck to me but it was sold 2 weeks ago.
He offered to have one built and shipped even though I said day one I didn’t want that! But since the color combo was rare and I couldn’t find any others locally I caved. I explicitly in writing asked if the deal would change whatsoever by 1.00 or a penny or one detail , anything!? I was assured again in writing nothing would change it would be here mid December and I would walk straight into the shop and sign and leave.
Mid December comes and no word, once again I have to contact them and as usual I always get a return call at the end of their day even if I call first thing. I’m told by Scott, who doesn’t bother updating me on my special order, instead says they have one in stock, (and didn’t bother calling me) but that being said wanted to let me know the original deal would be changing so we need to rerun everything. I reminded him we have it in writing with the manager nothing would change whatsoever, he said he’d talk to Wesley and call me back which of course never happened. A few days later I get an email reiterating what he previously said and that my truck would be here mid January!!!?
I’ve never had a dealer try harder to NOT sell me a vehicle! I’m the perfect customer. Immaculate credit, plenty of money and know exactly what I want. Yet this supposed highly decorated veteran salesman and manager combined couldn’t figure it out, nor did they even bother trying. This was my first experience with purchasing a Cadillac and honestly even before I made it to Sewell I noticed an OBVIOUS snotty treatment by every dealer I visited and contacted. The act as if they sell
Rolls Royce or Lamborghinis and only deal with celebrities. Which was how I was treated at any GMC or Chevy dealer I’ve been too. Which is where I’ll be going! Shame on Sewell and shame on Scott and Wesley. You all not only missed out on my business but my 3 other family members who were waiting on me to find a dealer I trusted so they could also follow me to buy new vehicles!
Avoid at all “costs.” I’m giving two stars instead of one solely because of Robert, our salesperson, who is genuinely a great person. It pains me to leave such a negative review, as I’ve purchased from Sewell before and had a terrific experience—however, that was with a Lexus, not a Cadillac.
I don’t know whether Sewell Cadillac is trying to cover the cost of expensive commercials or their new building, but they offered me approximately $24,000 less than the MSRP of my one-year-old vehicle. Even more concerning, their offer was $11,000 lower than the estimate provided through their own appraisal link on the website.
I will not be purchasing any make of vehicle from Sewell again, and I strongly encourage others to proceed with caution when dealing with this dealership.
Update: I've now lowered the rating to one star. As suspected, Carvana offered me $5,800 more for my car. I decided to shop around after speaking with the sales manager and had many of my suspicions confirmed.
It is one thing to have pride in your dealership and work. It is entirely another to besmirch the integrity of another dealership to make yourself appear better. Additionally, the arrogance associated with the individual I spoke with confirmed all of my previous misgivings about Sewell Cadillac of Dallas.
Perhaps it's just this location...I spoke with a friend who really likes Sewell BMW of Grapevine and as I previously mentioned, I really enjoyed working with Sewell Lexus of Dallas.
Unfortunately, it appears the cultural component I experienced at this dealership appears to start at the top. As previously stated, proceed with extreme caution if you decide to work with this dealership.
