This establishment has very good customer service. I was very pleased with my salesman and I purchased my desired vehicle. However I have experienced not getting my tags in a timely manner. Just recently found out that my car is not registered in my name it is still in the old owners name? I am really disappointed with the way the dealership is handling this matter of unimportant issues. They just recently sent me more temporary plates. I will not send any one I know to this dealership. I don’t think any other dealership would have let that happen “only in an area dominated by the black community”. Also found out that I needed new brakes they did not fully check this vehicle out period before it was sold to me. I have spoken to other buyers who have have expressed concerns with there sales and vehicles even with newer vehicles. I just don’t trust to send any one to this dealership.

I bought my car, 2025 Nissan Versa, on 12/24/25. It had 36 miles on it. I bought it a Clay Cooley Nissan. The very next morning, which was Christmas Day, the car would not start. I tried getting a jump from another vehicle and after about 30 minutes, the car finally started. Then I went to celebrate Christmas with my family. 5 hours later, the car would not start again. After we managed to get it started, I drove it home and mulled over what I should do. I finally went to take the car back and the manager at Clay Cooley, Mark Wemberly, flat out refuses to take my car back. The car was 3 DAYS old and it wasn’t working. Not only did he refuse to take the car, back but he became combative, agitated, and flat out rude to the point where he would not let me speak. I don’t think that any vendor should treat any customer that way. But especially, when the customer is sold a Lemon. This vendor should honor the return of faulty merchandise like any other vendor. The manager, Mark Wemberly, seemed to take my dissatisfaction with the vehicle personally. He was rude and unprofessional. I highly recommend going ANYWHERE ELSE to buy a car. I am very disappointed.

I had a very frustrating experience with Clay Cooley Nissan of Dallas. Prior to my appointment, I clearly communicated which vehicle I wanted. Despite this, my salesperson pulled the incorrect car when I arrived. I then spent over five hours at the dealership with little to no progress and ultimately had to leave for work without a vehicle. Although things were eventually resolved and I was able to get the car, the process was unnecessarily inefficient and stressful.
After the purchase, it took approximately three months to receive my registration sticker. During that time, my salesperson did not respond to four separate text messages requesting updates, which was extremely disappointing from a communication standpoint.
More recently, my 2025 Nissan Sentra malfunctioned and would not start. Despite this being a brand-new vehicle, I was not provided with a rental car, leaving me without transportation. In addition, the vehicle was delivered without floor mats, and I was never given access or proper setup assistance for the Nissan app, which should be standard with a new purchase.
Overall, this experience has been marked by poor communication, lack of organization, and inadequate post-sale support. I expected a much higher level of professionalism and customer care when purchasing a new vehicle.
