I bought a 2024 hyundai santa cruz in October last year and was told I would get free oil changes for 36000 miles and now they are telling me at 24000 miles when I am trying to get my oil changed that I need to contact a different company because clay Cooley bought texhoma hyundai and they will not honer the sales agreement. Don't buy from clay Cooley they will lie to you to make the sale and not hold up their end

Wanted to take the time to write a review for the service department, particularly Brain. I came in because I had, or thought I had an open recall on my Sonata. But Brain, who greets you with a smile as soon as you walk in the door, communicates, and although I didn't end up needing the recall service. He was able to check that within 5 minutes and send me on my way. It's greatly appreciated when people can deliver the right information and know what they're doing. Give my mans a raise!

I purchased a new vehicle from Clay Cooley Hyundai of Rockwall in June of this year and had a great experience there — the sales process was smooth, professional, and left me with a very positive impression of the brand. Unfortunately, my recent service visit to Clay Cooley Hyundai of Dallas didn’t reflect that same level of care. I had an appointment at 8:30 a.m. but wasn’t notified until 10:15 a.m. that the tire I needed wasn’t in stock and would have to be ordered, requiring an additional day to arrive. Their website advertises a complimentary shuttle or loaner vehicle and a complimentary car wash during service, but neither were offered to me. When I asked about transportation options since I’d be without a vehicle, I wasn’t informed that a shuttle was available, and no alternatives were provided. I completely understand that loaners are affected by a recall, but the lack of communication and follow-through was disappointing. Being left without transportation for something as routine as a tire replacement felt disorganized and inconvenient — especially for a dealership that promotes customer convenience and care. As a new Hyundai and Clay Cooley customer, I expected a higher level of service and consistency across locations. My experience at Rockwall was excellent, but my visit to the Dallas location left a very different impression.

I typically have had a lot of bad experiences with any Clay Cooley dealership salesman I have gone to. Clay Cooley group bought out this Bob Stallings dealership and I was upset because I get major repairs done here but it's close to me. I have it a try about a year ago, and had a great experience with service rep Tyler, went again last month and Abiel Quintero helped me out this time. Abiel or AB as he prefers was amazing and helped me fight with my warranty company and worked me until we were able to get everything negotiated and at a price I could afford. I still don't trust Clay Cooley salesmen but this service dept is great.

I purchased a used vehicle from Clay Cooley Hyundai of Dallas on July 19, 2025, after being prequalified through Capital One Auto Navigator. The dealership was listed as a participating partner, but once I arrived, they falsely told me they were not — which was untrue and set the tone for what became a deceptive experience. I went in for vehicles under $22,000 that were advertised online, but was told they were “sold.” I later confirmed at least one was still on the lot. I was then pressured toward a new 2025 model I clearly said no to — and the dealership still ran an unauthorized credit inquiry on my mother for that vehicle, even though she was in Iowa and never contacted. (Bait & Switch, Non-Transparency of Financing) Their “voucher” and “credit-forgiveness” programs were also misleading. I was told by text that my husband and I would qualify for zero down and credit forgiveness as long as we made $1,800/month. We met that requirement, yet they demanded $5k first then $2,500 down. To make matters worse, they said I’d be added as a co-borrower and could refinance in my name after a few payments. The final contract was instead written solely in my mother’s name — without her knowledge or consent when applying online with intent to be a co-signer only. My first payment was also due 30 days later, not the 90 days promised. It’s now been almost four months, and I still don’t have my registration or tags. The only solution offered was to “return the car for a refund of the down payment,” ignoring the deception that led to the sale in the first place. This dealership engaged in misleading advertising, unauthorized credit activity, and false financing claims. Consumers deserve transparency and honesty — not unconscionable conduct and deceptive pressure. 60-Day Notice to Claim Under Texas DTPA was sent and received by business. Only response was what was mentioned above. Read other reviews on multiple platforms and you will see a pattern.
