  Don’t waste your time coming here. They come out saying your approved with a cosigner, and no down payment when you first go, and then they ask you to bring more proof of income the next day, just to tell you that you do need a down payment. But yet they ask you to get a loan on an app and that I didn’t have to pay it back, and that was on me if I wanted to.To me that’s some illegal advice that salesman said for me to do. They’ll tell you anything just to waste your time, and to top the bs, I left the place and they were still pulling my credit, as I was getting notifications from left to right, when they had already pulled it the first day I got there. Stay away from this place!!!!

  One of the worst experience with a sales team! Called them in advance to check if the car I wanted to buy was available to look and test drive. Luther Johnson, sales agent, confirmed and gave us an appointment. Drove 45 miles to this dealer only to be told that the car couldn't be pulled out due to limited lot space. Sat there for 30+ minutes and was given a "I don't want to keep you guys waiting" - as if he didn't want to deal with us and just wanted us to leave. Clay Cooley - you lost a buyer today who would've made a purchase had you guys just communicated better.

  I had an amazing experience at Clay Cooley Hyundai of Dallas! I was able to purchase a 2026 Hyundai SEL Sport, and my salesperson Tyler was absolutely great. He was upfront, honest, and never gave me false hope. His energy was positive and genuine from start to finish, and I truly appreciated how transparent he was throughout the entire process. Before coming here, we visited Hyundai of Mesquite, and unfortunately, the experience there was very disappointing. It felt very wishy-washy we were told one thing and then later told something completely different. The manager never left his desk to speak with us directly, so everything felt like we were negotiating through a middle person. Communication just wasn’t clear or consistent. That was NOT the case at Clay Cooley Hyundai of Dallas. When something came up, the sales manager came directly to us and explained everything upfront, what it was and what our options were. There was no confusing back-and-forth, just honesty and professionalism. The overall environment was completely different too. Hyundai of Mesquite felt overcrowded, loud, and overwhelming. There were so many cars inside and a lot of loud music playing. At Hyundai of Dallas, the energy was calm, welcoming, and professional. They truly made up for our previous bad experience and met all of our needs. I highly recommend coming here, they will take care of you! Thank you again to Tyler and the team for making this such a smooth and positive experience!

  I went to go see McKenzie McKnight and Terry. She was nothing else but absolutely phenomenal! Very amazing and went above and beyond for me she had her best interest at heart for me. She really blessed me!! She made getting my car very very special and I’ll forever remember my days at Clay Cooley. Definitely a special and memorable moment and day of my life and comes close if not exactly as special of the day as when I got accepted to college, University. She even took a photo of me with my new car which also meant a lot to me and sweetened the deal and day so that I can forever capture that special moment. Forever thankful to both Terry and McKenzie, I highly recommend Clay Cooley Hyundai of Dallas.

  Absolutely the worst car-buying experience of my life—especially disappointing as this was my first-ever car purchase. The dealership negotiated and agreed on a price for a used car, and we signed based on that agreed offer. From the very beginning, I clearly stated multiple times, including during negotiations, that I intended to use outside financing. I never committed to financing through the dealership—I only asked what rate they could offer for comparison. After I secured a lower rate externally, I was told the dealership would no longer honor the agreed price and would increase it by $1,500 if I chose outside financing. That is completely unethical and feels like a bait-and-switch tactic. Despite this, I truly liked the car and reluctantly moved forward with the purchase. It got worse from there. I was promised the car would be fully cleaned and waxed before pickup. Instead, I was handed a car covered in dust, and when I asked about cleaning, I was met with attitude and resistance. I was told the car washer was frozen due to weather, which honestly felt like an excuse. Eventually, someone took the car to be cleaned—but when they brought it back, they left it outside and shouted from a distance, “Yo, there’s your car, go take it. I’m going home to my family.” Completely unprofessional. When I got into the car, it wasn’t even cleaned inside, despite what was promised. The rearview mirror was visibly dirty, there were stains inside, and to top it off, the previous owner’s documents were still left in the dashboard. What should have been an exciting milestone—buying my first car—was turned into an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. The lack of professionalism, transparency, and basic respect was shocking.
