    Do not get a car here! They kept my old car and now lost it. I tried to give back the car they sold me and Martin from finance claimed was working on my trade in. To leave my car so they could appraise it. They let days and now weeks go by. To only tell me they couldn’t trade it in. I went to go get my car and now they don’t know where it is?? I called almost every day. They are rude and disrespectful! No help or concern on my recent car that I still owe money on. No courtesy call or anything. I haven’t even had this new car a month. I just wanted my old car back!! This is the worse place and the employees are not good hearted people.

    This dealership is extremely inept and its employees, for the most part, are rude. They will not provide me with a loaner car and I live in University Park a minimum of 30 minutes from the dealer. I did the service they recommended and my car still doesn't work. Once this car is fixed I will no longer want to be a Hyundai customer. My friends all work with Sewell that has much better customer service and I will be doing the same.

    Buyer Beware- Do not shop Clay Cooley for a new car unless you are desperate. I drove 40 miles after confirming the car was available and that they would honor the deal through my employer sponsored car buyer program. After test driving, agreeing on numbers again and adding the car to my insurance- they decided to add 3500$ to the full purchase price. This was above the agreed upon out the door price and out side of tax, title and license. All of this was only revealed after waiting for 2 hours. Miguel, the finance manager, stated he made a mistake, but after we went over the numbers. He agreed there was no mistake. They were just reneging on the deal. I ended up walking away and reporting them to my employer for fraud. Do not buy from here —- They will lie, steal and cheat you.

    I brought my vehicle to this dealership multiple times over the past year for a recurring check engine light and spent several thousand dollars on repairs. Each time, the issue was only temporarily resolved. In early December, the light came back on again. The dealership kept my car for four days for diagnostics and then told me it needed over $5,700 in additional maintenance. After already spending thousands with no lasting fix, I decided to get a second opinion. Another shop ran diagnostics and confirmed the recommended repairs were unnecessary. They also found that previous work done by this dealership was incomplete and needed correction. The final cost to properly fix the issue was about $400. I’m very glad I got a second opinion—otherwise I would have spent nearly $6,000 right before Christmas for repairs that weren’t needed. Proceed with caution and always consider getting a second opinion before approving major repairs with this service department.

    We were sent a photo claiming our cabin air filter needed replacement. The image provided was not a photo of our actual filter. We have included comparison photos showing what they sent versus the filter we personally removed and replaced. The condition of our filter did not match the image they used to justify the recommendation. Additionally, they claimed to diagnose the A/C evaporator, yet the dashboard was never removed, which is required for a proper evaporator inspection. This raises serious concerns about the accuracy and legitimacy of that diagnosis. Further, we were not clearly informed that each concern carries a separate diagnostic fee. This was not disclosed upfront when service was requested, resulting in unexpected charges after the fact. Between the misrepresented photos, questionable diagnostic methods, and lack of transparency regarding fees, we have lost trust in this service department and feel these practices are misleading to customers.
