I’ve driven a Honda for 15 years. I love them. My Civic saved my life in 2018. And now, my HR-V saved my life a couple of weeks ago, when I got broadsided coming home from work. Naturally, the insurance payout wouldn’t pay for a new HR-V… so I carshopped. Blergh. Folks, the people at Clay Cooley Nissan in Duncanville were *phenomenal* to work with. Angelina S. knew I was working most of the time, so she did all of the paperwork with me online, then set up the appt so I could come in after a shift, sign a few pieces of paperwork, get my down payment, and get me on the road. Rae in finance worked with my (AHEM) horrid credit, got me better terms than I was expecting, In a killer 2023 Jeep Renegade. His name is Howard. So, now I’m a Jeep owner.

My experience at Clay Cooley Nissan, I saw a vehicle I was interested in and began conversations with a sales representative, basic things like color, interior and price. After getting the info I needed I said I would be there at this time and I asked if the sales representative would be there and they said just ask for me. When I arrive a lady opens the door for me and I ask for the representative and she say they are not here but she will find them and showed me to their desk. I sat there for 10 minutes and no one came to tell me anything so I get up and leave. A gentleman comes out after me wanting to help now even though he walked past me several times sitting there by myself and never said a word or offered any help. There must have 15-20 working people in there and the only one to speak to me before I decided to leave was the lady that opened the door she was very nice.

I DONT EVEN KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN, STAY AWAY!!!!! (Had to edit this because now bright and early I checked their website and they NOW have the same car listed for $3,327 more than what they listed when I drove 5 hours to get it! NO INTEGRITY, NO SHAME and obviously not scared of lawsuits) First I’ve purchased 9 different cars in my life and I have never been treated like a complete idiot as these people tried to treat me. I live in San Antonio almost 5 hours away, I drove to go purchase an exact vehicle I saw online. I spoke to a salesperson and their supervisor about this car, the drive and everything. I asked what time they’d be in they said 8:45am. It was supposed to rain very bad so I was hesitant but we took the drive anyway and let them know first thing in the morning. Not once did they mention that they “lost the keys” imagine a dealership losing keys to a car! Then immediately started trying to sell me other cars after I made it clear I only wanted one car. I then noticed the whole time they sent me pictures it was from the outside of the car, I had another dealership try to buy it from them but they told them they sold that car after telling me on a Saturday that the keys person can’t make the key until Monday! The lies just kept coming and even the manager was apart of the clown show they put on then nobody apologized, nobody made it right or even offered to make up for the bold and complete false pretense ! My family drove in a thunderstorm and they also low balled my trade in value but over 5k! Everyone from manager, finance person and all where in on making a joke of us! Keep in mind I already have a Volkswagen Atlas 2022 so I’m well aware of other atlas sales and this wasn’t “too good to be true” it was just the only one with the captain chairs that was within driving distance at the time, I have since found 2 in Houston with the same price and mileage! So it’s clear they either saved that car for someone they knew or for themselves ! .RUN AND RUN FAST unless you like to be lied to, overcharged, and tricked! Never again and certainly felt it was inhumane to lie and mistreat people never once offering any remorse ! Then the salesperson and entire crew acted so arrogant and smirking as if they do this all the time I was just another victim ! YIKES - how this place is still in business was is beyond me

I want to share some honest feedback about my recent experience. When I first walked into the dealership, I wasn’t planning to purchase a car that same day. I had intended to take some time to think things over, especially since I’m familiar with how the car-buying process can sometimes go. I will say that the car(s) I initially expected to test drive based on prior communication were not the ones I ultimately ended up seeing and driving. However, Angelina was very nice to work with, and all of the representatives I encountered that day were kind and professional. Overall, I was given a real “wow” experience. I truly appreciate the effort your team made to make things happen for me and to help me drive off the lot in my first certified pre-owned vehicle. One suggestion I would like to offer: when communicating via text, since there were multiple people reaching out from the same location, it would be helpful if each person identified themselves or referenced previous conversations. This would make communication clearer and more personal. Thank you again, Cooley Nissan. I’m happy to be a part of the Cooley family—I’ve already noticed so many Cooley Nissan license plate holders around!

Horrible experience with this dealership. I saw a Vehicle I liked online, I sent a request for the availability on the vehicle and I was contacted the next morning by a salesman. Everything was find until I told the salesman that I was financing the vehicle through my own bank. The salesman told me that he was going to get some numbers from his sales manager and that he would contact me as soon as he got it done. This was at approximately 9 or 10 a.m., the salesman didn't contact me again until after 6pm saying that he would get me the numbers 1st thing in the morning. I asked what happened as to why I wasn't contacted all that day about a vehicle I was wanting to purchase. I got response until the next morning and he said that he got overwhelmed with customers. That was understandable because I know how things can get. The next day the salesman said that they were working on numbers for me and he even sent me a video of the vehicle I wanted. Again, this was at about 9 a.m., and again no response until later that evening at around 2 pm and that's only because I reached out to him. He said that he went to his sales manager several times and got no answer about the vehicle I wanted. I told him that if I didn't hear anything before closing time, then I would look elsewhere. I was never contacted. It wasn't like I was an unqualified buyer, I was pre-approved by my bank and I all I need was a buyer's order and the vehicle was bought. I guess the dealership and/or salespersons don't make enough money off customers who finance through their own banks. Absolute horrible experience and a waste of two days. No shade at the salesperson though, I actually believe it was the sales management.
