- RGRiCksTa Gee1 day ago1.0Time: 5.30ish. 4.30.27 - me one the phone away from any type of customer, worker or soul, but speaking spanish. Lady with dreadlocks at the first service counter yelling to a Hispanic male working to the other end of the building by the battery wall! How do I know this? This was my store. As she is yelling clear across the building she says: "hey ______ (coworkers name) come up front cause this guy is speaking spanish and I dont know spanish!" Me caught of guard. So upon hanging up my phone call. I clearly look her in the face and confirm to her in ENGLISH, " that i can speak clear English, but that is was on the phone and not directly speaking to her" where she replied. "My bad" - that was the attemped "apology" I recieved for a discriminatory action. Wow! Well, now here i am trying to figure out what the autozone innovation plan is where "my bad" is a proper way to pardon someone actions while at work. It was probably more important to be on her cell phone in the front of the house watching tiktoks that she probably forgot her work ethic. What are you going to do? Right? Oops. Her bad. 🤷‍♂️
