I understand we showed up late, it was almost 30 minutes till closing. One of the supervisors was outside when we pulled up. But he acted like he didn't want to help us, due to it being close to closing time.

Went in because my car was struggling to turn on. Asked them to do a battery test and it showed a bad battery but then they also “tested” the alternator and told me it was bad too. They were gonna sell me one for about 280-380. They suggested replacing alternator first before battery just in case the alternator fixed the charge issue. Can’t afford the repairs so I googled the procedure. Ordered a cheaper part from Amazon. Went through the removal and installation process. Battery still bad. Replaced battery. Took it back to autozone to make sure everything tested good this time and just for the sakes of it I had them restart the alternator. Imagine my surprise when they said it was a good alternator. I told them I went through the whole process of installing a new one based on their dumb testing procedure and all they could say was, “well, how much was it?” And then “I think u should keep it cuz it’s a good price for that alternator”… gees dude! If only I was made of money. Looking back, either the guy that ran the test didn’t know how to do it properly or just wanted to upsell me on buying a part I didn’t really need. Shame! Always get a second opinion
