Had a terrible experience here. I went there twice and the first time when they replaced my cabin air filter they obviously damaged it putting it in or taking it out the second time. Because this thing was clearly damaged by incorrect installation or extraction. I told him that they better be replacing that they looks me in the eye and said that they will replace it. Before I paid I then ask them to show me the air filter.. they did not replace it with a new one. So without going into any of the other horror details... Needless to say that these tech lie to you.

World is expensive anyway Add to my oil change of almost 175.00 You change a $9.99 fee for shop supplies. As you already charge for oil filter on top of all. Been with ya a long time, going shopping for another place which I can give the shop rags 100 at a time for less than $9.99 Side note I hardly ever complain

Our annual inspection was provided by courteous employees in a very clean facility AND with no pressure to purchase unneeded services. They continue to earn our loyalty.

I came in for an oil change. After their inspection, they suggested changing my my air and engine filters. I changed my decision about having my air and engine filters changed because I had to wait for the filters to be delivered. I was on my way out of town and just didn't want to wait. The fee to have them replaced was overpriced anyway. When I went to pay for the oil change, they informed me that they had replaced the filters. I asked why they changed the filters when I had declined the service. They gave a BS story about how they thought I declined because of the wait. Yes, that was true. What was also true is that I declined the service. I felt that this was in bad form. I will never go back.

I just want to warn everyone about the Jiffy Lube on 1488. The one next to the car wash that's pretty much in the same parking lot as Luliet (across from HEB). I went there today for emissions testing. My sticker expires Saturday. Nothing like procrastinating and waiting until the last minute! Usually I go to Take 5, or an Indy who does nothing but emissions testing. This Jiffy Lube is run by young adults who can't possibly be older than 22 or 23. 24 is pushing it. ANYWAY...while they solved one mystery - outside of doing the emissions testing, they tried to convince me I needed new rear brakes, and proceeded to give me an unsolicited quote. What they didn't have on their bingo card was, my rear brakes and pads were recently replaced (Nov 2025) by a different local business chain. I have driven a little over 2000 miles since the service. At first I was pissed that maybe the other business bamboozled me. These kids seemed so sure of themselves, showed me photos, claimed I was metal on metal. I told them I was taking my car back to the business that serviced it. One of the kids said if Texas still required a safety check on emissions, I would have failed because of the brakes. They also told me I needed a flush on some fluids, and new spark plugs, blah blah blah. What they also didn't have on their bingo card is that my husband grew up around cars. His father had 9 cars at one time, and was a member of the Bayshore Car Club and some De Soto car club. So my husband can change out my spark plugs and all that other stuff. We don't need to pay anyone to do it. He can do brakes too, but I think we were short on time, and the other business also replaced my shock absorbers (my car is kind of old). I get to the other business, and fortunately the mechanic had time to take a look at everything. Mistakes happen. My brakes are fine. And if I were metal on metal I would have heard grinding and other awful noises. I told the mechanic all I hear while driving is the road and Tom Petty. Those kids also tried to convince me that I needed a new cabin air filter, which was also recently replaced by the same business who did my brakes, at the same service. The kids said it was dirty, and showed it to me. When the other business checked my brakes, they told me they use cabin air filters that have charcoal or something in it, and it has a gray hue. It because it helps with odors. I know charcoal helps with odors, but did not know filters can come that way. Cool. I can't help but wonder if they are too inexperienced to know, or if they were trying to drum up business (Jiffy Lube, that is). So I do not recommend Jiffy Lube on 1488. I went there because they are the closest business to my home that does emissions testing. My intent was to go to HEB after Jiffy Lube, and then home. They sent me an email and text asking for a review, and guess what! They're getting a review! The mystery those kids solved was, my a/c wasn't blowing cool air. I thought maybe I had a leak or needed freon. It turned out there was a bird nest inside the a/c fan.
