- JPJacob PowellAug 26, 20251.0I’ve personally done business with CC Plus several times before, mostly in their gun department, and I must honestly say there are better gun store options available in the Conroe area other than this particular establishment. Don’t get me wrong, they do have a really good inventory selection, but their prices for guns and ammo are exorbitant and overly excessive that borders on downright price gouging. Another big reason why I stopped doing business at CC Plus is the blatant unfriendliness among the store employees. There seems to be a general consensus among the other negative reviews that the staff who work behind the gun counter are less than welcoming and I can strongly agree with those sentiments. It is mostly with the older gentlemen there and they carry an unpleasant air of arrogance and pompousness about them and at times I felt like I was being treated like an idiot for asking legitimate questions and making observations on certain guns. In conclusion, I would not recommend doing business here, unless the owner of CC Plus wants to stay competitive in the growing gun culture and maybe put it’s rude older employees out to pasture and hire new staff who won’t treat customers like dirt.
