Today I called AutoZone in the morning because I needed a battery. I thought they delivered to the door, but they don’t. Even so, Michael from AutoZone immediately offered to go above and beyond by bringing the battery to my house and installing it for us.
At first, I thought I would ask our neighbor to take us to the store, but they had other things to do. Since it’s Christmas and most people want to be with their families, I really needed that battery so I could be with mine later that night. I called the store again and asked Michael if he could help, and thankfully he did. He came during his lunch break and installed the battery for us.
It later turned out that my car also needed the auxiliary battery replaced. Michael had to remove everything and put it back the way it was, then gave us a jump start so my daughter could drive to Splendora to buy the auxiliary battery. He even offered to go with us, but I didn’t want to abuse his kindness.
My daughter returned with the battery, and Michael came back at the end of his shift and replaced both batteries with no hesitation.
Thank you so much, Michael, for your patience, kindness, and incredible customer service. What you did truly went above and beyond, especially during the holidays. AutoZone is lucky to have you!

I arrived at this Autozone very exhausted from work in need of a jump start across the street, right at family dollar. I thought I had to pay for the jump start, but one of the staff himself offered to go across the street and do it for free. He then saw that my battery was old and suggested testing it with a machine they have. I agreed, and when he tested it, it turned out to be faulty and was going to die soon. At that point, I didn’t hesitate to purchase a new battery. He offered me two good batteries with a warranty. I chose the one I could afford, and once I paid the total, he installed it for me across the street! I want to say thank you to Autozone for the exceptional service they provide. Thank you Michael for your kindness and helping me.

I’ve noticed many complaints about this AutoZone, mainly regarding long lines. It’s important to understand that Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays are their busiest days, so long waits are expected. I personally went on a Tuesday to buy an oil change, and there was no line at all.
I highly recommend visiting on weekdays and planning ahead instead of waiting until the weekend. This location serves thousands of people and is the only AutoZone in the area, so parts sell quickly—especially on weekends.
Please be respectful to the employees. I’m not defending anyone unfairly, but it’s simply the reality of a high-traffic store. I often hear customers complaining about the wait time, even when the line is moving and the wait is only a minute or two. Everyone is waiting their turn—patience goes a long way.
The only time I experienced a longer wait was about 10 minutes, and that was on a Saturday around 1 PM, which is peak time. Since then, I’ve chosen to shop on weekdays, and it’s been extremely quick—usually no wait at all.
One thing I will note is that they could benefit from having more inventory, as some parts are frequently unavailable. However, this is understandable given that they are the only AutoZone serving such a large area.
Overall, it’s a solid store with helpful staff, and your experience will be much better if you plan your visit ahead and know the part you’re looking for.
