  The service was phenomenal. Mr Morgan was amazing not to mention Jhorden. They made us feel welcome and explain everything as they went about fixing our car. Thanks to the whole team for everything.

  I've taken 3 vehicles there for alignment and on two of them I was told that the alignment may not hold because of band separation. Both times, I went to discount tire to talk about replacement and they said the bands were not separating. One of the cars had tires that were two months old. On the third car, I saw band separation written on the notes but the guy at the register didn't even mention it because he probably knew not to feed that crap to me, because I knew better. They were blatantly trying to get me to find the need to replace my tires for my own safety. Well, discount tire in cedar Hill has a new alignment rack and I won't be going back to Mavis. These guys, sort of, impostered into my relationship with NTB, which was a straight shooting company. There's a whole story about how they let me pay 500 to replace inner tie rods and never told me that my lower control arms' grommets were worn and one of the ball joints was ready to come out. The car didn't drive straight when I picked it up, due to the control arm situation, and they didn't say a word. If that ball joint came out, it would have caused a wreck. At least I have friends who know cars and helped me out. That's the car with the 2 month old tires that they said wouldn't align because of band separation. That's when I found out about the new alignment setup at discount tire. They were able to bring my car to spec with the new control arms that my friend installed, on the tires that supposedly have the separated bands.

  Theo and Antonio helped me get 2 new tires today, very friendly service. They are considerate of your time as a customer. I believe a thorough assessment was done and I was informed accordingly. I will be returning mainly because of the customer service that is lacking so much at most places.

  Mavis Tires and Brakes used to be National Tire and Battery (NTB), and have excellent reviews so I gave them a chance with a European vehicle (I am selling) to save some money in this economy for an oil change and filter. Their price point was highly affordable, and I brought the car back two days later on an appointment for brake pads, and went ahead and had the roters changed as well. A previous recent check up with an unnamed service center did not identify the need for brake pads/rotors, thus I was able to visualize and approve this service per my request. I asked for and they gave me the old parts. The pricing was very fair. The manager (a Veteran), and the assistant manager are both personable, knowledgeable, and customer service centric. They run this business like clock work both times I was there. While there, people came in for new tires, tire repairs, oil changes, and one lady had her car towed there and they diagnosed the problem for her. One busy gentle came in for a quick check of tires and rotation, and they got right on it. They have easy parking, and also provide FREE air, which is how I initially became acquainted with their services. The technician was easy to talk to, thorough, and is bilingual. I also saw a highly diverse staff which is not popular in today's climate. This company deserves your business because they have timely services, highly affordable prices, are super clean have an open waiting area, and are well lit. I trust them for my car care. The only suggestion would be to keep doing what you are doing!
