  Purchased a Duralast starter for a Dodge Ram 2500 went in the evening of 4/22 to pay the young Gen Z AA male greeted me, was very pleasant, rang me up perfectly, thanked me for my purchase, and smiled. ☆☆☆☆☆ He stood out! I had called Auto Zone and O'Reilly, and he remembered the query. I told the Assistant Manager in real time of my 5-star interaction from phone manners to point of sale, and he said he would pass it on to his manager. The following evening 4/23 when I went to pick it up, the young AA Gen Z girl at the pick up counter barely made eye contact, did not greet me when I came through the door with receipt in hand, scanned the transaction all while carrying on a conversation with the mature female coworker 2 registers away (who openly talked about her other job), finished the scan and just kept talking to her coworker. I just stood there and asked, "Was that it?" Total opposite interaction. She did not say thank you, and I felt like I was interrupting their flow. ☆ I spent $376.00. The young man understood expense (employees) vs revenue (customers). She needs remedial training, as does her coworker, who saw that she was with a customer. I am a rewards member, so I will be back.

  This AutoZone is a life saver! Christy made sure I got the best battery for my car and educated me on the differences of each one. And then Travis helped me with an installation and was very friendly!
