  In November 2025, I purchased a $100k+ LS3/6L80E 1969 Camaro from Earth Motor Cars: their car, not consignment. I was promised a mandatory two-week shakedown before delivery. GPS tracking confirmed it was essentially fiction. What I received had eight documented issues — most catchable in a couple days at most: 1. Trans fluid so overfilled it was running down the exhaust headers. Fire risk. Something your local lube shop could've done better. 2. Leaking power steering fluid from a loose reservoir. 3. Active radiator coolant leak throwing fluid onto the battery: electrical hazard. 4. PCV system incorrectly routed, causing rear main seal leak from pressure buildup. 5. Hard pull to the right on delivery. 6. Wrong coolant: green universal instead of GM DexCool. I flushed it myself. 7. Insufficient vacuum pump output for the brake booster: a known issue at any price point given the engine. 8. Spec sheet said don't exceed 45 MPH. On a $100K LS3 Camaro. Then it got worse. Within 100 miles, I had a catastrophic brake failure. The right wheel hub lost all bolts securing the rotor. Caused by improper Wilwood brake kit installation: NO Loctite, torque specs WRONG. We pulled the front left to confirm. This failure could have caused significant bodily harm to someone. The rear suspension is still factory leaf springs. With this much power and no four-link upgrade, axle wrap was severe, driveshaft angle was way off, and the car was unsafe above 60 MPH. While I was promised some reimbursement for some of these issues, I was met with push back and have only received a radiator replacement and some useless Wilwood "replacement" parts. And to be honest, it isn't worth the effort to deal with these guys any more. I have spent over $15k to get this car to a point it should've been off the lot, given the original price. I directly dealt with the classic car facility lead for this. I have photos, GPS data, and documentation of all this. Feel free to contact me via google profile. Buyer beware.
